Nice Korean Cafe, open late. Can get busy at the weirdest times. Decent coffee - the draw is the baked goods. Those familiar with Korean and Japanese Cafes ought be quite happy and familiar with the offerings. Also, creme cakes, rolls, bingsoo, and sandwiches
manoa bakery has some of the best bingsoo i’ve ever had. they are very generous with the toppings and i love the scoop ice cream on top. my mother and i ordered the red bean bingsoo and the mango bingsoo. the mango was super fresh and fruity but the red bean was the star of the show. this place had a super cute vibe and the staff was super nice. would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a delicious refreshing dessert.
O.M.G!! This place is going to be my forever bakery spot for sure. Non of their desserts are too sweet or too fatty, all cakes are super fluffy and airy, and their customer service is great too. I think my picture shows how great are their dessert. Try the blueberry cake holy lord ?❤️? YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!
Very nice quiet place for coffee and Korean French style layered cakes lovers. Not a huge selection of baked goods but cakes are mildly sweetened ( great!) and always fresh. Very good for teleworking and just chilling out. Nice relaxed ambience
I've been coming to this bakery for about two years! I really enjoy all the treats they offered and love the chill atmosphere of the bakery itself. The cheese cake was a freebie, what nice customer service! I gave it a 4/5 because the bathrooms need some TLC....big time!
I got the 11.99 sugary coffee bingsoo, it wasn't worth the price because the blob of ice on top wasn’t coffee ice cream, it was a frozen ball of sugar, coffee, and water combined. I’m so disappointed.The milk tea was super sweet and they didn't ask if I wanted boba so I thought it came with it.Bakery items are cold and soggy. They definitely weren’t good as they used to.
Been coming here for seven years straight! Bakery selection is great, customer service has always been great!Check the package for details, many items have red bean. A few things have changed in the past couple years - less consistency with workers (I was used to the same three or four for many years). The bathrooms used to be immaculate. The music is the same everyday, all day, possibly same CD on repeat. And of course since the pandemic, the hours have not been the same. Even still, best cafe in the area!
My whole family and I came here tonight for coffee and tea and we ended up having to leave without purchasing anything. When we walked in the employees explained that although they don’t close until 10pm they had already cleaned everything and were not serving any drinks. We were there at 9:40pm - 20 minutes before ten. Very disappointed. Do not recommend.
This place has good coffee. There's also a fairly diverse selection of cakes and baked goods but it depends the time of day you visit. They offer freshly made sandwiches but I have not tried those yet so cannot comment.
Hands down the best coffee and hot lattes in Annandale! I always make it a point to get my hot latte w/ double shot espresso and some milk Pan bread or pastries before heading back to RVA. Their coffee is not bitter and doesn’t give you heartburn. They have a friendly staff and call ahead ordering too! Highly recommend Manoa Bakery. ❤️
