Ridiculous good food and great atmosphere!We drove 45 minutes and dealt with hwy 66 and would do it again!
We were looking for something new and different. One of the family members has a thing for Bibimbop. I have been told several times that the only place to get the best Bibimbop was a place in Washington DC.A family member suggested we give Loopy's a try. The venue was close by, so we stopped in for a bite. Looking at the menu there did not seem to be a huge selection. The restaurant is somewhat small but has a cozy atmosphere. Jazz music was being streamed at the time which was quite pleasant. Quite a few folks were picking up take out so the food must be good.We ordered Summer Rolls, Beef Bibimbop with Yum Yum sauce and a side of Pickled Daikon Radish, Spicy Pork Platter with vegetable fried rice and I chose tiger sauce. The platter came with a salad and you get to choose aside. I chose kimchi (medium spicy). The person taking our order was very friendly and explained the different options and did not rush us through for the order.I was told the Bibimbop was amazing and better than the restaurant in Washing DC. The fried egg made it amazing. The Spicy port Platter was absolutely delicious. The rice and salad were equally delicious. The Summer rolls were amazing. I am a fan of those. There are huge with crispy vegetables and shrimp. The vegetables have been marinaded and are fantastic. I am not sure what the sauce is that comes with it (possibly sesame sauce) but very good.During our meal, the same person who took our order came by to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything. Great customer service which is very much appreciated.The food was so delicious that we order some take-out for the next days' lunch. We ordered another Bimbibop but this time with Shrimp and yum yum sauce. I ordered the Galbi 3 piece with fried vegetable rice and kimchi for a side dish. We also added two orders of summer rolls. The Galbi took some time because it was made fresh but well worth the wait.As I picked up our order to-go the person to bring it to us asked if I was going to have the Galbi to which I replied I am. He said you are going to love it!Next day lunchtime.I warmed up the Galbi, vegetable fried rice. Wow!! I do not know what marinade they used but it is the best Galbi I have tried to date. I have a couple of different places I go to, but this so far is fantastic. Jucy, tender, and flavorful. I will be back. This will be my go-to meal and since the place is close by we will be coming by often. Again I was told the Bimbibop was amazing.
I've been to Loopy's a couple times and it doesn't disappoint. The store is always clean and staff follow covid protocol. Recently, I grabbed a bulgogi rice bowl and it hit the spot perfectly. The sweet potato tempura was hot and fresh and the fried rice was well seasoned. Bulgogi was delicious and generously portioned. The sauces really pull everything together - spicy mayo and yum yum sauce. Another plus is they serve halal chicken and beef, but they also serve pork at the restaurant. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.
Loopy's is the best. Just finished some of their delicious Bibim Bop. The Apps are good too - Summer Rolls were crunchy and the shrimp fresh and fried dumplings were delish also. Definitely recommend, eaten here dozens of times and always consistently great.
I absolutely LOVE coming here. They are so sweet and their food tastes so good! I always get the Bibim Bop Bowl with the Sweet Potato Tempura on the side, along with their delicious sauces. I’ve come here many times and always get excited to go back!
Loopy's is always amazing. The food is always ready on time, and the quality is amazing. I would pay double for the bulgogi tacos...
Excellent! Came here for dinner. Got a bibimbap bulgogi bowl. The menu clearly states the chicken and beef are halal. The food is flavorful and fresh. I especially liked that they use real silverware, bulls, and glasses. No plastic! Extra points for the environmentally friendly approach.

Love having Loopy's in the neighborhood. the food is well seasoned and fresh. Yhe chicken bibim bop with vegetable fried rice is DELICIOUS! my favorite dish!
