The place is so small. The tables were so close to each other. We had Tofu soup, it was okay, but the soup bowl and soup container looked dirty to me. I had a combination of seafood. Tofu soup, which contains one shrimp, 2 thin slices of beef, and 5 clams and full of mashed Tofu and a bowl of rice. After I ate the soup, I had a stomach ache. Go figure!
I've been looking for authentic Korean tofu in the DC area and this is it! The soon and bulgogi were great and I will definitely be back. There is ample parking out front and in back and the staff were nice and attentive.
Had a fantastic meal here with friends. The service is great and the food is delicious. The Chayote is all I can think about now. They accommodated my sesame allergy, which I am so thankful for. Truly an amazing restaurant to stop by and check out! You won’t be disappointed.
Phenomenal tofu soup! Spacious and clean restaurant. It was busy on Saturday but no wait for a table. The menu is short and simple. The kimchi is tasty and not overpowering. We got oyster and mushroom tofu soup, seafood pancake, and otopus noodle. Even with plain soup, the tofu pot was very flavorful. My friend was a bit disappointed at the mushroom soup since it only had one type of mushrooms. I didn't like the otopus dish's flavor, it feels flat despite being spicy. Just a word of warning, you get really sleepy after eating there, not sure if it's due to the generous amount of food or MSG!
Tofu soup is good! Also the fried pancakes
Our family and friends have been coming here for over a decade. Best sundubu in the city! I recommended combination or kimchi+beef spicy
Highly recommend the spicy kimchi tofu soup. Very authentic place and the side dishes are delicious and plentiful. The portion was also great- no one at the table could finish their meal alone. One person also had the spicy pork, which was also good. The only downfall is that it can get very loud inside.
Used to be good few years ago, but not anymore. The soup stock was thick and flavorful before, but it has thinned out lately. The ingredients aren’t fresh, especially the clams. Definitely frozen, but my opinion is that they’re pretty dated from the taste. When they are busy, the hot stone pots in which they bring the rice is just a pot for presentation. They don’t cook the rice in these pots - they cook them in big cookers and just spoon them in the pot before serving for looks. This is what one of the employees told me, but I could also tell by the taste.Very disappointed in food quality and service going down hill.Just like most Korean restaurants in Annandale, well below average. Sad we can’t find a clean, authentic Korean restaurant in the DMV area.
Amazing food! The portion is great and really nicely flavored. The place feels family-owned and authentic. Price is also nice
Tofu house! It's lika a house made out of tofu but much better because you can eat it!
