Really generous portions! I have been craving jjajangmyun since I left Korea, and this place did not disappoint. The small portion of the tangsuyuk felt like a large and the sauce wasn’t overly sweet.10/10 will be going again when I want Korean-Chinese food!

It has been a long time since we visited. It’s menu is far more extensive with many variations on typical K-Chinese dishes. We had popular dishes; jjambbong and jajang myun. The oyster jjambbong initially tasted good but it’s turned out to be just ok. Szechuan Pork Gan Jajang was better. The noodle and sauce. I would have to visit a few more times but it’s slightly better than avg (3.5).

This place was pretty amazing. We really enjoyed the classic Korea-style Chinese dishes on offer. The atmosphere was great, really felt like being in this type of restaurant back in Korea. Tangsuyuk was less crispy than we like, but the jajjang was on point. We only tried the appetizer broth of the jjambong so it is hard to make a sound assessment. All in all, well worth it!

I live in Maryland and when I want pork tang su yuk, this is the Best..It's crispy but chewy and tasty.Ask for the sauce on the side and we always order the small size and plenty enough for 2 people.Seriously, one of the best in Annandale.

Avoid peak hours. 1.5 hours to get food. The food wasn’t fresh and one was burnt. The manager is nice but is inefficient and is not able to handle a busy restaurant at all. Shocking is right. She just nodded to all the complaints and was not helping at all. I felt like speaking to a wall. If food was good, it may have been worth it still but it was so bad. So I guess you have to go at right times to get good food others are raving about. There are other Korean Chinese restaurants in the area. Avoid this one. At least during peak hours. Just ruined a beautiful Sunday.

Shocking customer service. However, they have earned a lot of money, so far. So losing a customer is not a problem.Virtually kicked out of the restaurants, because it is 30 minutes BEFORE the closing time. They would like to go home, of course, but terrible service.Glad that I didn't pay a tip.

I stopped by at this restaurant after a visit to DC 30 min before their closing. The waitress was friendly and every dish was VERY tasty. I will definitely stop by again in the near future when I am in town. Thanks for the wonderful experience at your restaurant!

Stopped in on a Friday night. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service.

Jangwon is a curious restaurant. The quality of the food here swings back and forth every time we come here. Sometimes it will be absolutely delicious; at other times taste like ash was mixed in with the Ganjajang. The service here is consistently phenomenal though. It's always fast and efficient, and your water gets refilled quickly. I've never had a complaint here.At the end of the day, we come time and time again as regulars because we can trust that it will hit more than it misses. As a result, I'll rate it a 4; it's a restaurant I'll come back to and enjoy, rather than a place I'll visit once and forget.

The food is delicious. The employees are all kind.I hope the jajangmyeon is less sweet and the sauce isn't watery.Tangsuyuk was good, too.
