WORST WAITRESS EVER!!! I have been there a couple of times for lunch and dinner with my kiddos. The staff was really nice and attentive until tonight. Cindy was our server... OMG so RUDE!!! FIRST SHE GETS MAD BECAUSE I WANTED TO COOK THE BEEF( because it was busy so I was trying to help her out AND culturally the mom cooks the meat) then she was trying to be the connoisseur of Korean food and gave me an attitude... UM.. I'm Korean, I know my culture, my food and how to cook it. And you don't clump it in the middle of the grill and shake it around, etc. I don't need you to teach me how to cook Korean food and or my food. Also, I asked you for steamed egg in Korean and realized you weren't Korean, and said it in English....you reply in a rude and snarking manner "I know what that is". so I ordered the other food in Korean since you knew what I said in Korean ... then you say, "sorry I'm not Korean I don't know what you're ordering"... then why did you say you knew what Korean steamed egg was when I said it in Korean???? You NEVER refilled our drinks, I had to flag you down every time I needed to order something....Then you ask my husband for the check to see how much you got a tip??? HORRIBLE SERVER!!!
I’ve been to the original old Korean BBQ place over several times. First time are Iron Age, didn’t know what to expect at this place.Much younger and diverse crowd.Scan QR code for menu, roughly $30 per person.Limited side choices compared to a traditional Korean BBQ, which was why a 4 star review. Would like to have some seed weed, fried tofu, picked cucumbers,The house salad dressing was really good. Eat the whole bowl before meat was cooked.Meat was good.No cross contamination between the meats, which required a new cooking tray.Now on to my most important judgment of a restaurant, the service!Our server, was very attentive, friendly. YMMV Left $20 on a $60 bill!All in all it was good food for the price in July 2022!!
We went there and ask if they have a table for a group of 12 person and a rude staff name YEGIN answer not right now!if you want wait for 20minute with a grumpy face!still we are willing to wait, and with attitudes of YEJIN she told us 'YOU GUYS NEED TO GO OUTSIDE!!WE DONT HAVE WAITING AREA HERE!which is they are not busy and we only 4 person inside and the others are outside.YEJIN should be teach a proper manner,you should not working in hospitality if you have an attitude just like that.We always go IRON AGE in COLUMBIA HEIGHTS and the staff there is so nice. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.
Went there today (21 May 22) one of the worst experiences ever. First off the server was rude for no reason. I don't even know you yet everytime meat was brought out, you slammed it down like I owed you money??Second; I've been to Kogiya, HoneyPig, and other Iron Ages. And I've never had a freaking POPSICLE STICK in my Soju?!Third; and also with the meats we ordered, they were given to us FROZEN. Again no other KBBQ place has ever given their customers frozen, unseasoned meat. But at Iron Age Annandale you'll be in for a shock.Finally; the servers intentionally left the stove hotter and burning without lowering the fire whenever customers would leave and new customers would sit. Is this not a fire hazard??Highly would not recommend this place, please steer clear. And eat at any other Korean BBQ.
Went here for the first time. it was early saturday and raining so it wasnt busy. We were not rushed, food was great and the lady server was fantastic. Would definitely go back.
The food and customer service was perfect. My tables server was Pat and it was the first time that some of my group had KBQ, he explained the process and his recommendations were on point. He was very personable and kind. If your thinking about going I would highly recommend it.
Guys, the food in this place was excellent. I can't explain how it was you had to try it yourself, and it was so good. I went with a party of 5, and all of us were delighted with the server and the food. I told my friends we needed to again, it was clean friendly and the music, if you like Kpop, was on point. Thank you so much for listening, and trust me, you won't regret going to this place; you'll thank me later.

If you a meat lover this is the place for you to eat. Meat eater buffet. FYI: Too much meat!!" They have seafood too( shrimp and squids only)^_^" ( Friday - weekend dont have lunch price;dinner price only : Monday- Thursday have lunch price and dinner price )
