Authentic Korean food, very friendly staff, hot soup (in more than one way). The missing star is the missing salt on the soup, but I definitely going back.
Amazing restaurantI’ve been there only once and I found them through google. The guest service is really great and I received my order in a really short time. I had bibimbab with japchae and the taste was amazing ? although it’s a bit expensive and I paid about $40+ But the taste was worth it.
My first experience with Korean food was a decade ago. I was hooked. I would make the trek from OC to K-Town a couple of times of month for Korean food. The Korean food in Northern Virginia is really good. We stopped by Gom Ba Woo for dinner and had a great dining experience. The portions were generous and everything was amazing. The staff were polite and friendly.
Had a mixed Solungtang. Food was delicious and Ggadugi was tasty, well harmonized with soup. Also, the staffs were friendly and clean inside.
If you want to go to a restaurant where the servers make you feel like they are doing a service for doing their jobs - this place is for you .I usually don’t leave negative reviews like this but we had a particularly bad experience after going a few times (each experience being subpar in terms of service). We were willing to tolerate until We found a rancid piece of meat that was gone bad and I calmly and quietly brought it up to the server . She proceeds to scoff and gossip about it with her coworkers. Ever since that interaction she was treating us like second class citizens.When it was time to get our check , she (without exaggeration) threw us the check. Rotten food , unsanitary conditions.We will not be returning.
The worst seolleongtang I ate on the 28th. OMG... The soup should be thick... Yesterday's broth. Yesterday's rice. Yesterday's Kimchi. I thought the food on the other menu would be the same. I tried to forget, but I'm leaving a review for future customers.

I lowered it one notch as I found the food quality deteriorated. In addition, I found the prices are incomprehensibly wrongly assigned.
Foodies in the DMV must give this place a try. The food is authetnic, fresh, and the service is top notch. What are you waiting for??
