The place is fine, and the food is ok. The only reason I gave it a 3 star (even though I want to give it 2 stars for this) is that my chicken was hard. And the meet in my friend's food was hard too. The rest of the food was fine but I didn't like the chicken in my food, it just shouldn't be this hard at all. There was no softness and tenderness to my chicken and it had no flavor. The chicken ruined the rest of my food, which if I ate only the other stuff in my plate the food would be fine but with the chicken I couldn't swallow it down. The place is fine, it's clean but they have a small area for seating so there's not a lot of space if it does get pact or if you want to eat in. The tables we're a little dusty and I think it's mostly because they don't get many clients that dine in. It's a business that mostly focuses on take out. The workers are very nice though, you won't have any problems with them at least from my experience. I only ate there ones so this is all I can say. I want to give them 2 stars (chicken shouldn't be this hard to chew). I'll give the place 3 stars just to be generous that they fed my starving friend (he said that he was gonna die if he didn't get food soon lol). Their drinks are good though.
This place is great. I'll be coming back often for lunch.I just wish I could order online!
FYI: This is Salvadoran food. Google has it listed as Mexican, but it is not. You will not find tacos, burritos, or enchiladas here. You WILL find fantastic pupusas, plantains, and yucca! Only a couple of tables; it's really a carry out place. I thought I wanted Mexican for dinner - I was not sad that it turned out to be authentic, freshly made before my eyes, Salvadoran food. Muy delicioso!
We ordered the Carne guisado, chuletas, and some pupusas. The portions were definitely filling and everything was delicious and I would definitely come back. However the pupusas were quite the opposite. We ordered the revueltas (pork and cheese) and really lacked on pork. It honestly tasted like a thick corn meal quesadilla rather than a pupusa.
This place is amazing! It is owned and operated by an older woman and her son. The food is fresh and served hot. Also affordable. I really enjoyed the food and the portions are large.
Outstanding service. Fantastic food! The pupusas are to die for and the horchata is phenomenal!5 out of 5 every single time! Cannot recommend enough!
Came here recently and seems like things are up-and-coming!The staff was nice, attentive, and explained the offerings so I was able to place an order rather quickly. The food came out hot and my yuccas were still crunchy when I got home. This is easily my FAVORITE chicken-pollo place. It falls off the bone (the brine is great), the flavor and moisture of the chicken is unbeatable. The yellow sauce has a slight sweetness and the green sauce is made in-house and not too spicy.I’ve also tried several sides like their yellow rice, yuccas and this taco-like with dried beef shreds which were also tasty and unique! If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend…not to mention, **they’re cheaper than other chicken places** but this is a secret gem for sure!
We’re obsessed, it’s so good. Not a dine in place, but who cares. I have tried pupusas from every place I’ve been to in this area and these are by far my fave. Everything I’ve had has been delicious!
The chicken and rice is delicious and there sauce is great love the salad too.the customer service is great Too. They are nice and friendly
