There are no shortage of chicken sandwich options these days and I've tried a few. I've been wanting to make it out to Wooboi for quite some time and wow, it blew me away. This is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had.The sandwich is huge, but it ended up being just as good the next day. I am a big fan of spice, and their code red was perfect spice wise for me. It is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant!
Went with a group who is pretty decent at handling spice levels up to Carolina reaper. Some had the Code Blue. Insane levels of spice even for them, but also tasty at the same time. I had the level 2 version of the Sando. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough. The food is delicious (possibly my new favorite chicken sandwich in the DMV), the service is great (they gave plenty of sauce), the prices are reasonable, and if you’re looking for spice they have got you covered. Looking forward to coming back
I went here for lunch with some coworkers because we had head that they had one of the spiciest chicken sandwiches in the area. There was quite a bit of street parking during lunch time, so that was a definite plus. I ordered their standard friend chicken sandwich (called the 'Sando' on the menu) at the code blue extra spicy level and some waffle fries. The cashier asked if it was okay that it was Carolina reaper level of spice, and I said sure, since I have a high tolerance for spice. The sandwich is huge, and the order of small fries comes in a huge paper container! I see a few people complaining about price, but you absolutely get your money's worth at this place. I liked that I could still taste the flavor of the chicken along with the sting of the spice, and the fries were seasoned to perfection. Do not get the code blue unless you are experienced with spicy foods. My coworkers enjoy spicy foods from time to time, and they said they might be able to do code red, but level three worked for them. I took off a star because they do not provide tap water, and the drink selection they do have is quite limited.
Okay, so I was gonna rate it 4-Stars, but then I warmed my leftover sandwich & waffle fries up 6 hours later and it was equally delicious. Definitely deserve the extra star! Very clean establishment with fast service. I ate off the small order of waffle fries with both servings and still didn’t finish them. The sandwich was massive which also made it worth the price. Don’t shop around. Just stop in!
Wow! Ordered via uber eats and it was still delicious! Highly recommend the blt. Serving sizes were BIG! Hubbs got the grilled cheese chicken sandwich and it was artery clogging too much haha but the waffle fries were good and the sauces were delicious. Code red was hot hot haha I was good at level 2 but I LOVE that there were heat levels to choose from! Chicken and waffles were yummy too ! Highly recommend!
Without a doubt the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Level 2 and 3 are great and the mix of flavors from spices, cider slaw, butter pickles, and come here sauce is something you won't get ANYWHERE else. Chicken is large & Halal and the Sando is easily shared between two people. I visit at least every two weeks...
Taste great and spicy, hopefully they can sell chicken only without sandwich. Recommended when you are in Alexandria VA across from DC.

Still one of the TOP hot chicken places to go. This sandwich is delicious hot and not. The bun is nice and soft. I believe it is toasted. The chicken has different spice levels that lead to code blue. I only go up to code red now. I did code blue once and that was by far the spiciest sandwich I have had in the area. The fries are also fresh and hot upon order. This is something I highly appreciate. The fact that everything is cooked to order. The second it comes out it is just perfect. The level of salt. The texture of the fry. The temperature of the fry. All of these little attributes is what makes simple food amazing. Most places can't get them all right at the same time.
Something honest about a place that serves a limited menu and strives to make each items perfect and with great care. This is one of those places. Biggest, tastiest chicken sandwich I have seen. A great meal cut in half and a perfect leftover for later.
