Cajun fish is very tasty and the drinks are strong. I would recommend it for a family outing.

First time dining here. The fish was fresh and properly prepared. The service was efficient but friendly. The outdoor seating is perfectly set up. Weâll be back!
The food and drinks are always good here! But the service this time was not so great, it took 45min for our waiter to come take an order, he had stopped by twice to say he was on his way before that. We ordered all our food at once and drinks. Appetizers came out and we finished them before our drinks came out. Main course (oysters) came out after going to the wrong table first. When we were about 1/2 way done our waiter came to check on us and I ordered another drink. Last time our waiter came over we asked for the check⦠he never came back. I never got my last drink and eventually someone else came to check on us and brought our check. So always good food, but service was bad.
The outdoor setting was nice. The food was good, but we were not alerted that the kitchen had run out of one of our entrees until a significant amount of time had passed, so I think the other two entrees ordered were prepped and sat for a while before being served. We understand that kitchens will sometimes run out of main ingredients, but we should have been alerted as soon as the order hit the kitchen. The pasta lajolla entree was a bit skimpy on the seafood as well. Additionally, partway through the meal, our wait staff changed for no apparent reason. Hopefully the tip we left was shared between them. All in all, an above average, not great, outing.
We had the pleasure of dining at Whiskey and Oyster just for the lobster roll, but the experience was so great that we had to return for Fatherâs Day. This place is a hidden gem and everything we have ordered were superb.
Fatherâs Day dining with my son and husband. The didnât have the lobster bisque I wanted. The oysters were not cleaned well. The shrimp and grits needed more Cajun spices. The crab cakes were excellentâ£ï¸
We had a terrific dinner last night! Raw oysters, blacken rockfish, salmon, seafood pasta, great Fatherâs Day cocktails, and the finale of bread pudding and beignets! Highly recommend!
