Thought i’d write a review to say this location is AWFUL. Managers are very rude to employees and have horrible customer service when issues arise. I worked here summer 2021 and it was such a negative work environment, disrespect everyday DO NOT APPLY HERE. The managers & owner are all Ethiopian so they talk amongst themselves and it’s their word against yours. All in All i wouldn’t recommend coming here as you will get treated bad and other locations have better smoothies.

really deserves a 0. these people are racists towards black people. the Ethiopian owner as well as the lady are very rude. They helped another customer before me (white) I was already in line waiting to place my order the customer asked if she could finish with her order, I asked could they open up another register so I can place my order because I had been waiting, the lady dismissed me and helped the lad, and when I asked for another associate to assist me the owner told me I can go somewhere else because I would not recommend this location to anyone. not to mention the guy kept rolling his eyes at me while I waited for my food. horrible individuals. another white customer came inside the lady was beyond nice and was going above and beyond to help him, but when other black customers came inside they were very short with them.
Shame on whoever owns this place. Two women diligently working and not able to keep up. TURN OFF mobile ordering and allow walk up only. NO way they can keep up with both. Shame shame shame.
Great service, even when busy. Great tasty product.
I placed via mobile app for delivery on November 4th. I received my order with items missing. I called back to the store and was told my missing items were still at the store at the register. I asked for items to be delivered and never got them. I called Friday November 5th and spoke with a manager about the issue and he said he would call me back and he yet to call me back. After speaking with other coworkers they have all said they have experienced the same issue with no resolution. This is horrible customer service.
This tropical smoothie location has completely ruined my chances of ever going back to a tropical smoothie again. Mobile pickup is nearly impossible, as all of the workers are too occupied with what they're doing to interact with the customers. It is almost like pulling teeth trying to get the attention of one of the workers. The management seems equally as disinterested, it's like all of the employees have a fear of customer service. The staff at this location needs some new faces. I will NOT be coming back, and will be letting all of my friends and family know to AVOID the tropical smoothie in Belle View.
I love Topical Smoothie Cafe but this location (which is convenient to my home) sucks. There is really no nice way to say it. I go back about once a month to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again but things seem to be getting worse. It takes forever to get your oder (regardless if you order ahead on app or in store), it is chaotic in the store when you wait to pick up and typically the order is incorrect. Twice I had the sweet potatoes side and they were cold like never heat just ice cold. Today my quesadilla did not come with the side I ordered. If you want accuracy and quick service, head to the Potomac Yard location.
Rude ignorant employees why is it impossible to get a banana and chocolate smoothie with whey protein? How pathetic that they can’t make a banana and chocolate smoothie lol when they have they ingredients. The owner needs to contact me
Super disorganized for pickup. No clear line, and they seem to give preference to drivers for pickup rather than actual customers. Design a more clear system for picking up food.
