The food was excellent. I had a business meeting and this place was perfect. I will be returning.

The best pork chop in my life so far. With the waitress’s advice on the medium doneness, the pork rib flavor is intense yet tender with a slight pinkish cut. I was visiting this restaurant for the first time right after a bicycle accident, but it’s too tasty that I even forget my pain of broken wrist while enjoying the thick pork chop. The cocktail was also smooth and right on spot for the sweet bitter balance. I did tip them well for their kind service of refilling my ice pack too.

The three of us immensely enjoyed the food. Kudos to the chef! My husband and brother ordered mussels and complained not enough bread to soak up the tasty sauce. I loved the shrimp toast and cleaned my plate. The entrees were trout and salmon. We are still talking about our meal with smiles.The dress code is business casual but folks arrived with neat jeans and sporty tops. Service was excellent and we definitely plan to return.
We were here for a celebratory business dinner for 5. We arrive a half hour early for the reservation and they accommodated us very well. Food very good and service very good as well. Ambience is fine, somewhat dim. Noise level high, but not unusual these days.
We had a great experience at the Majestic. Our waiter, Hugo, was phenomenal. He made all the right recommendations when it came to drinks, appetizers, and the main meal. He was extremely attentive to us and was always right on cue when it came to serving the next course. The food was fabulous, and we enjoyed every bit of it. It was a special occasion, and it proved to be the right venue for the occasion.
Delicious Meal I had the salmon with summer corn it was really good. My mother has the trout and loved it, my son had the half rotisserie chicken his roasted veggies were so good. The service was a little wonky I ordered the rolls never came I asked about my rolls by then we had started dinner the waiter asked if I really wanted them nowâ¦.I took forever for my 2nd glass of wine but overall the food was excellent itâs very very loud.
Our first trip to The Majesticâand it certainly wonât be our last! My husband and I brought my dad and step-mom here to celebrate Fatherâs Day and our official move to Old Town. My step-mom has some hearing loss, and in spite of the boisterous noise level the way in which the restaurant is configured and decorated she had no problem hearing us! Our server was EXCELLENT; the food was impeccable (I got the NY strip and the strawberry trifle, both were excellent; my husband got the crispy chicken thighs and he LOVED them); the cocktails were wonderful (I particularly loved my cosmopolitan)â¦we are so glad to know about this longtime local gem of a restaurant and look forward to coming here for many years to come! Incidentally, if youâre from the Detroit area/know about it: the vibe of the Majestic felt very akin to Diamond Jim Bradyâs!
