Everything is amazing! I have never had any of these pastries before and they were so patient with answering all my questions. Hands down the most amazing thing I tried was this little delicious pie
Refreshing cafe tucked away cozily in a Days Inn. New ownership has reimagined the interior and added a patio with shaded seating. The interior has seating as well, is very welcoming, and has a cool relaxing feel to it. The current owner (Mr. Katriel Menedez) is a trained Argentian chef who has reformatted the menu with savory dishes and delicious sweets in addition to espresso drinks. Tango historically served Argentian fare and was quite good but Mr. Menendez is truly building something special. The Argentian pizza was surprisingly light and very delicious/flavorful, the empanadas contained well seasoned meat and were wrapped in delectable pastry, and the steak sandwich was bedded in a large home made roll and accompanied by two sunny side up eggs. The pastries are light and sweet. Anything they make with Dulce de leche is great! Staff including Mr. Menendez are warm and welcoming. I look forward to going back every time I leave.
Honestly love the food here, I have been coming here for months and it never disappoints. Real authentic Argentinian food❤️❤️❤️
I'm surprised how many 5 star reviews this place has. The interior could use an update and some cleaning. The empanadas were doughy and the fillings were not great.
Hands down the best pastries I’ve ever had in my life! For this to be the first time me trying Argentinian pastries they really set a bar that I personally feel like can’t be topped no where else .from the customer service to the delicious treats I will always be a returning customer , can’t wait to try the empanadas!
Delicious espresso, pastries, and OH MY GOODNESS THE EMPANADAS!!! ? Charming atmosphere, very nice service from the smiling staff.
Every aspect of tango pastry was worth the experience. Delicious empanadas, pastries and treats beyond amazing, and staff very respectful and welcoming. Must recommend and will seek catering at some point this year.
Everything was excellent! We had the cappuccino, sándwiches de miga, empanadas, alfajores and facturas, all amazing! The service was also very good. Definitely recommend!
Delicious pastries and empanadas. Super friendly staff!
Welcome to the neighborhood! Will miss Sandra but so exicited to see Tango pastry continue with a new owner. I stopped in today to check things out. Katriel he's made some much needed changes. It's surprising what a fresh coat of paint can do. There's new lighting and some more improvements coming. My mom is a Porteno from (BSAS) and grew up in Belgrano right incte heart of the city. The idea of having the same food she grew up with, here in Alexandria is so cool.?I ordered 6 facturas (pastries) a cinammon 1 called cara sucio (dirty face) another with quince, and vanilla filling. They are smaller in size but a little sweet and perfect with a cup of coffee.I also bought the miga 2 levelled sandwich (lite) not a double decker with red pepper, hamon and the crusts cut off. I'll make the 25 minute trip and sample more items soon.I understand they have door dash too.
