Came with my hubby at the recommendation of a family member. The food is amazing started with the white chicken chili and it just was so flavorful. Then we had the pulled chicken egg rolls and they were just melt in your mouth goodness and very fresh not greasy at all. We tried the burnt beef tips, gumbo, ribs, and turkey and nothing disappointed it was legit bbq and we are from Texas so we know good bbq. Chucho runs the show and he really cares about making sure everyone has a great experience while you are dining. We love this place and we will be back!!!!

This place is phenomenal. We were recommended by our family member that this is the place to be. The owner happened to be at the spot. He showed us what true customer service is all about. I am coming back next year with my friends and family. Thanks CHUCHO

We loved our food, particularly the sweet cornbread, which was not at all gritty. Also whoever made the playlist that night has excellent taste in music.

Delicious!

The brisket was lean, moderately seasoned, and done right. The pulled pork was white ribbons of meat, moderately seasoned. Good mild flavor. The potato salad missed the mark with several pieces undercooked. It wasn't good The mac and cheese and cornbread were both on par, while the sweet tea is not sweet at all. Look carefully and you'll spot lemonade there with the tea. I found that the barbecue sauces on the table added substantial flavor. I used the regular barbecue sauce on the brisket while I used both the vinegar-based Carolina red sauce and the mustard-based Carolina mustard sauce on the pulled pork. I recommend this approach. Their meat and sauces pair well here. Last, there was a honey Chipotle sauce on the table but I could not find a use for it. Perhaps with another meat offering?

The texture and size of the smoked wing is very good . You can taste the smoke for sure. Collard greens were good too, I thought it would be more flavorful though . Cornbread was good also , I don’t typically like cornbread with corn . But this was just a the bottom . Which was fine . Overall pretty good

Fantastic BBQ! Pulled chicken and pulled pork was great for a client event my team held. The best part however was the customer service. Sam was very helpful and patient with me as I had to put in a catering order 2 days before the event. Our clients loved the food. Highly recommended!

I’m visiting from out of state. This place is shockingly delicious. The brisket is “award winning” and I can confirm it is exceptionally tender and smokey goodness. I had the pork last night and was good too - but the brisket is a “Stop the Presses!” meat epiphany. I had never tried North Carolina Vinegar dressing, but decided to experiment. Holy Cow! I would’ve included a picture, but that s&*# is already gone. This place is so good I wish I wasn’t just visiting. That is my only disappointment here.Full Bar

We've eaten a lot of Texas and Southwest barbecue, so we were anxious to try some from this part of the country. It wasn't outstanding, but certainly didn't disappoint. Beef brisket, pork ribs, chopped port, chicken wings all were reasonably tender and flavorful. The vinegary Carolina style sauce was an interesting change, though they had other sauces available too. The sides were a mixed bag. Mac and cheese was rich with good flavor, but others like collard greens and cucumber salad were surprisingly bland. Prices are reasonable and portions are substantial. The restaurant has a full bar inside, though we stuck with local golden ale.
