I see all these reviews about this place not being "black friendly" and the owner being racist. I'm super confused because we go here all the time and the manager is so nice and loves to see my our baby. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. The prices have gone up a little bit, but that's appropriate given the current economic climate. We never have any issues with our servers or bill. Highly recommend the Big Bang Roll; Wood Bridge Roll and Lobster Lasagna Roll.
Always love Sushi Jin on King St. We live just 2 mins away and we’re here at least once monthly. Clean, friendly service, soft lighting and chill ambiance. And of course a great food selection. We always default to a selection of sushi rolls, different each time. Never disappointed. Our kids love it too, esp miso soup and the simpler rolls.
I visited this restaurant twice and I had a great experience the first time, but the second time I was frustrated. The first time I ordered a salmon don chirashi and it was very good, but also pretty pricy as well. The second time I ordered take out for a chirashi,and I had a bad experience. I had ordered over the phone for a salmon chirashi, but the lady must have misheard me because I ended up getting the chirashi, not the salmon don chirashi. On top of that, some of the fish was sliced very thick, to the point I couldn’t chew it ( esp the octopus because it is so tough). I ended up throwing more than half of the chirashi I got and frankly I would not visit this place again.
I literally walked in the door as soon as they were opening one day and was greeted immediately. I placed my order and my sushi was prepared on the spot. Everything was excellent, and I even ended up sharing with my mom when I get home because of the portion size. Definitely one of the best hands-down!
My wife and I loved this place. The wait staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. We tried the fire muscle appetizer and it was so darn good. The ramen was awesome and the sushi was great. Definitely a lot to offer on the menu, try them out.
First time at this location. Bulgogi is wonderful. New twist on fried dumplings look like a fried silver dollar. Russian Rulette has a surprise inside. VERY CLEAN AND FRIENDLY STAFF. Highly recommend.
Food was very tasty and so filling! If you go at exactly 5pm there aren't many people there which was nice, by the time we were leaving it was getting full. Staff was friendly and efficient.
Might become my new go-to spot for sushi and ramen in the DMV. Really creative rolls at very reasonable prices, including a lot of veggie options. Fish tasted very fresh. Ramen had a great broth and the pork was delicious and generously portioned. Didn’t see any outdoor seating options if that’s a concern for you I would call ahead to check.
This is a bamboo interior sushi restaurant that some how have copied many other bamboo interior sushi restaurants in the US. They may have one interior designer for all of them which could also contribute to my rating. The sushi is delicious for a cheap date and delivery as expected but not outstanding. The table is enough to sit 4 people, and the atmosphere is a bit noisy. Of course if you'd like to be in an intimate dinner with a 3 michellin star rating, this is not it. The table next to us is an arms length away but I couldn't hear what they're saying.The server was great and helpful, we had a boat load of sushi which was prepared in a miniaturized ship decorated in plastic leaf, variety of fish, ungodly amount of Wasabi and ginger. The food was delicious, can feed 4 hungry people. Though we did have takoyaki, and a few appetizers I don't remember the names of.I had a good time 7/10
Nice casual dining. Good for night out or just quick night out.
