Friendly and fun environment. I thought the food was really heavy! The biscuits were dense!
A while since I've been, but I came across my photos and wanted to share. Went with a group of friends for lunch. I was lured in by the fried chicken and also got a biscuit and gravy. Good sized portions, gravy is thick, but not too gloppy. Would have liked a larger piece of chicken, but having it sliced was good.
Food was great, service was great. Biscuits take a little while but they're fresh, so relax and enjoy.
Stomping Ground biscuits are my favorite treat in the region, by far. Having a good, lazy morning? Gone on a long walk and need to refuel? Feeling blue and need a pick me up? THESE BISCUITS are the answer:)I've tried a few of their savory breakfast sammies but honestly, even just plain and with butter is a delicious breakfast with a cup of coffee. Their hot sauce is also great.
Extremely polite and attentive staff even on the busiest of mornings! BUT, the main attraction are the biscuits, no? Out of 3 in the order they were all underdone on the interior, falling apart and almost inedible. Chicken biscuit had to be thrown away it was actually disgusting. Not sure what is happening to the quality here but it’s suffering severely and for the prices (whew!) totally unacceptable. Two stars for awesome staff and the delicious boozy vanilla iced latte.
Great biscuit. Gravy and chicken sandwich were amazing. Good Friendly service. Pricy but that’s normal for Del Ray.
The Biscuit tasted great. But the chicken on the biscuit was dry, fried too hard and no seasoning. I wanted to try this place because someone said they had the best fried chicken biscuits in town. Sorry this is a miss for me. Maybe next time I’ll just go for the egg and cheese biscuit.

Lovely artsy spot, the food was good beside the roasted chicken which looked like left over chicken from the day before, but it was shredded chicken with oil in it, hence :-(. Everything else was on point.
Delicious biscuit sandwiches and great coffee. Nice seating area inside and out.
