Went the other day with my husband and we both loved the food. The portions are big enough and the meat wasn’t dry at all!! I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and he ordered the two meats platter (chicken and brisket)
Glorious! Had the ribs and holy fuuuuq, was I blindsided by how good they were! A real proper hole in the wall, don't overlook this gem!Bonus points, most of the menu is gluten free;)
The brisket is up there with Dicky's. The burnt ends are the best around. Everything is top-notch. The house sauces are INCREDIBLE. Do yourself a favor and get couple house tortillas instead of a slice of wonder bread. Fantastic little meats holders.
Cole slaw was rotton and discolored and soft dur to being days old. overpriced. Burnt ends are dry as sand and hard. Terrible baked bean was more of a Chili. Was not prepared properly. Waste of $22.
I tried Smoking Kow for the first time yesterday (5/11/2022), and I must say that I was pleased! I had the family of 4 platter which included the baby back ribs, brisket, collard greens, baked beans, and the creamy garlic & jalapeño mac & cheese. Everything was tasty! My only complaint (if any, and I’m not deducting any stars) was that the portions were almost not enough to feed 3 adults, but we made it work!
Ordered carry-out catering for a party of 20+ - super easy and amazing food! Everyone asked where we got the food from. Ordered chicken, brisket (YUM), pork, coleslaw, potato salad, corn bread and cucumber salad. The cucumber salad is seasonal and it was the best I’ve ever had! These large orders come with potato rolls and utensils- fantastic deal!
I ordered the ribs platter . I got the following sides ; Mac n Cheese , BBQ baked beans , Texas Caviar and cornbread.The food was good ! I actually had enough leftover for dinner. I was not a fan of their sauces , the only decent one was the Carolina golden .Since I decided to dine in I was able to overhear the cashier call customers and let them know that they were sold out of certain items and some customer choose to cancel their order. So If you do order online , you should call in to make sure your choices are available.
This food was so good that, even though we have leftovers, we'd go back for more tomorrow (if they were open). The pulled pork and brisket were both very flavorful and succulent, and the sides were beyond amazing. The pickles were sweet and vinegary, with a great crunch, and the cucumber salad had a clean, bright taste. Both complimented everything else perfectly. The jalapeño mac and cheese was excellent, full of flavor and not too spicy. The potato salad is probably the best potato salad I've ever eaten.
Way better BBQ than I thought, and I'm from the south! The beef brisket was amazing.And blood Mary's were basic, but for $4, who cares! Recommend
OMG? Just like eating at your home BBQ. Sweet Original BBQ sauce and Ribs are? Sooo Delicious ?
