This place is typically awesome and has an amazing super friendly staff. But a couple of days ago I went for the breakfast buffet and something was off about the sausage gravy. The sausage gravy tasted old and the meat tasted like it was freezer burned. Out of all the times I've been there this was the worst, I didn't complain and paid my bill but man.......let me show your cooks how to do sausage gravy please I won't even charge!!!!
Great food, great price. Hidden gem for sure. Wasn't too busy the day I was there, either. Service was quick and easy and the waitress was very helpful in making sure I had everything I needed. Their Athenian chicken tasted great, their fried calamari is hard to beat in price and taste, and unfortunately they didn't have bread pudding so I opted for rice pudding and I was not disappointed!
Great location. Food and service were both top notch. We visited mid-week and it was moderately busy. Home fries were delicious. Very welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place we would visit again.
food here is absolutely amazing, we came for the easter buffett and had an amazing experience, great customer service and amazing food, this was a pic of my sides wish i took some of the gorgeous ham and salmon 10/10 would recommend and go again!
I had the grits, eggs, and scrapple with toast and a side of biscuits with sausage gravy and it was everything. My friend had the veggie omelette with turkey sausage, homefries and toast. Everything was great, portions good, coffee was good. Nice diner.
Love the all day breakfast! Outstanding service and the food was really good. Recommend checking out this place especially if you are anywhere close to Old Town. It beats some of the restaurants on/closer to King St. in terms of quality, service, and value.
Looking for a place that served good portions for prices that aren't insane is hard. I'm happy to say we found that here. Also, they made my home fries correctly. Typically a place has to deep fry them to do that and they come out greasy. Absolutely will return if we're in the area.
Exactly what’s advertised. Great service, large portions, comfortable and clean and tables sanitized. Fun place, great old time big band music. Breakfast was very good.
Little Mom and Pop diner that serves very good food. I had the pork chop, and it was cooked to perfection. I have paid more at high dollar restaurants and got overcooked and bone dry pork chops that cost a lot more. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
