Pizza Delicious, but Poor Customer Service, and Lacks Equality!I took my family (2 adults and 2 small children) here for an early dinner, and we inquired about the NY style extra large pizza to dine in. Our server, German shared with us that we could not order it at the table, only take to go, because it’s not fair for the servers tip.. So we took his word, and carried on. 10 minutes into our meal, a table ordered EXACTLY a NY style extra large pizza dining in! We were told, “because they “MIGHT” be regulars.” RIDICULOUS!!
We came here on the last night of our vacation. It was amazing. Delicious wood fired pizza! Our only regret is not coming here earlier in the week. If we had we would have come back for a second visit.
This place may have gotten 2 stars if it wasn’t for their bartender. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the host who directed us to our seats on the patio. We came in for happy hour but was told that it was only at the bar so we moved. That was fine. The issue began with the rude service we received from the bartender. We weren’t greeted at all and we’re basically treated like an inconvenience. She just slapped two menus on the counter and that was it. We had to ask her for the happy hour menu. We asked her about their “well” drinks since we were unfamiliar with that term. The bartender, seeming to be annoyed by the question, explained it as just any drink with bottom shelf liquor. Okay cool that’s fine so we proceed to order margaritas. However, she then let’s us know that those wouldn’t be considered happy hour price, we only get liquor with one mixer. After doing some research of our own we learned that that’s not the actually definition of a “well” drink. The food came out at a decent time and was okay, it’s just unfortunate that their bartender had to ruin the whole vibe. We will not be returning.
Very tasty! The pizza we ordered was a 10/10! I had pepperoni pizza and my partner got sausage. We both enjoyed our meals. I did not love the garlic knots though so I would avoid those. The service was good and our server was polite and attentive. I also ordered a cocktail, a hibiscus drink that was decent but a little too sweet.
Very disappointed. The hostess taking the to go orders seemed annoyed w/ my menu questions. The food was almost cold and very little portions for the price. Flavor was just mediocre. Definitely would not return!
Really great pizza. I only give a 4 because dough can be inconsistent one day out will perfect and crispy next time it may be a little soggy but the taste is still there. I think if they can nail that issue down 5 stars every single time.
Everything was fantastic. Seats available for people watching on King St. or the fiery pizza oven; we did the later.Meatballs were juicy and tender.The pizzas are a good size to split and their arrival was perfectly timed after our appetizers.They still have the garlic knots from another reviewer’s picture even if they aren’t on the menu.
I’ve had good pizza from here and then there are nights like tonight. This is pepperoni with half mushroom and olives. The ingredients were correct. The biggest problem is the cheese and the ingredients slid right off the pizza when picked up. I tried to call and inform them of the problem: received minimal acknowledgement.
I’ve been to this place twice and the service has been slow but okay. But that’s not the reason for the rating. The first time I went was earlier this year and the second was yesterday. I called ahead of time to make sure they had gluten free pizza since I have Celiac disease. I ordered it, of course with an up charge for this special crust, no problem. They brought me a pizza and I was surprised by the great taste, as I felt that they did a good job in keeping the taste of the original pizza crust.I went back yesterday and ordered the same pizza, and noticed the crust and taste were different. I then realized that they had given me the regular pizza crust which caused me to be be sick the first time. Needless to say I will not be going back due to their lack of detail and making me sick.
The pizza was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were extremely fresh and great quality. I had the spinach pizza.
