We stayed in Alexandria for two days and I chose to visit Primo’s because I am a pizza lover. I was so happy to have tasted one of the best pizzas ever! Also our server was wonderful!
Would love to be able to say I ate here at the food smelled great when we walked in but we were told they were only serving large groups and would not seat two people inside. Keep in mind it was windy and barely 60⁰ outside.
This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The owner is always there and he and the staff are hardworking and consistently friendly. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. We especially love the Greek Salad, Pizza and Chicken Parm. They've adapted amazingly to the lockdown. We go usually once/week.
Highlights were the Greek Combo, carafes of house wine, and friendly wait staff.
Great portion sizes, homemade food that you can tell is homemade, feels like Jimmy (owner?) showed up to my grandma's house to help cook.

We have been clients of Primo's since their original ownership. Their signature dishes have always maintained their quality throughout various changes in management, but despite their efforts to provide clients with carry-out under Lockdown, I'm afraid their house pizza, gyrus and greek salad have slipped SLIGHTLY. Am hoping this is a temporary occurrence and everything will soon be PERFECT again! AND, dining room reopened too.
