I had never ordered Pho until last night and while the food that we got was yummy, it was a negative experience. We ordered three chicken pho dishes, fried egg rolls and a smoothie. Door Dash delivered. We only got one chicken pho dish and the other items. I ran out into the rain to catch the door dash guy and he went back. Another 30 minutes passed before we got our food.....the WRONG food. Some dish with brown meat (that looked gross and I would not eat), rice and "salad"...two of those. No chicken pho. When we called to complain, the guy answering the phone could not seem to care less; he was too busy complaining about how busy they were. He said the Door Dash driver could not find our order, and apparently, the guy at the restaurant had no way to find our order either. We never got our proper food (threw away the other food we didn't order) and the guy at Pho offered no refund or anything. I won't go back because of this experience. $73 down the drain. Expensive (I mean, chicken broth, rice noodles and a few pieces of chicken for $14???? Crazy) AND poor service.
Since new ownership took over, Pho Kim has really gone downhill. I have been dining here weekly for 20 years. Sometimes twice. I’ve brought everyone I know there. It was a family tradition to eat there, and once my daughter was born it became a tradition to bring her too. I’ve seen lots of people in and out, and I’ve been totally okay with all sorts of service and quality there. But these new owners don’t get it. And they’ve brought the restaurant down with their attitude. They need to realize that this is a neighborhood place, and the people around them have been dedicated and have kept the doors of the at business open until now. They don’t seem to care about that, and operate as if beholden to nothing. It’s a shame. Won’t be back, which is sad after all this time. I’d give zero stars if I could.
I had a small pho chin with extra meat and two orders of goi cuon (summer rolls) for take out. Pho was tasty but I've had better goi cuon. They were very friendly and I will definitely try again!
Neighborhood staple with fast, friendly service. Pho is excellent, always fresh and a great value for generous portions. Recommended!
Terrible experience as soon as I walked in the door. No friendly greeting, asked are you eating here or taking out. I responded I'm eating here. I was told "well then go sit down" ? I was shocked how rude these people were. I thought maybe he's having a bad day. Nope the same type of energy came from the server as well. I asked for the veggie beef soup. She argued with me that there was no such thing until I pointed it out on the menu. Honestly at this point I was rethinking EATING ANYTHING FROM HERE! Overall I would NOT RECOMMEND Pho Kim to ANYONE!
Super friendly staff and delicious authentic Vietnamese food. they have some of the best boba smoothies in town! definitely a hidden gem and would recommend.
I love the food, I've been coming here for years and the staff is friendly.
Pho wasn't hot enough.
They don't care about the service,,, they want your money,,,,, soup is ok,,, spring rolls are one of the worse there I have,,,
Their chicken wings are thee best and the pho broth which is only beef is much tastier than other pho ? places. The Boba drink not a fan
