Food was delicious as always! We made a last minute reservation on a Friday night because we wanted a place that was close by with the possibility of bad rain! Service and food were great and we made it home before the rain started. Love having this delicious restaurant in the neighborhood!

Received our steaks 15 minutes before our sides. Waiter never asked how our food was cooked. Manager finally came over and asked if anything was wrong. When I told him, he asked what we wanted. A fine dining should not treat customer like that. They took the sides off our bill. Manager did offer to reheat my steak to match the sides, but steak was already over cooked. Previous experience has been good there
I chose Oak because I have been there before and it did not disappoint in the slighted. I ordered the NY strip with the red wine jus, mashed potatoes, and spinach. All were phenomenal and I would not have expected anything less. It is worth mentioning that all the butchering in done inhouse making the experience ten times more amazing. My server Alexandria was an absolute delight and Tom, who I believe is the manager, was warm and welcoming and checked on me and everyone in my section with a genuine interest in our experience and how we enjoyed what we chose. This is a perfect date night restaurant or just the perfect place to treat yourself to a wonderful meal. I cannot wait to return.
Had dinner for my anniversary. Food is excellent. We ordered the shrimp shrimp from the raw bar menu and ribeye for our main course along with the Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Everything was fantastic. Our server was also excellent. Answered questions and made the right recommendations for us. Iâm chatty and he put up with me so thatâs a good thing. Very experienced server. As it was our anniversary Oak presented us with a card and dessert was on the house. That was a really nice touch and totally unexpected. I will absolutely be back to Oak in Old Town. If you like steak, this is the place to go!
We celebrated our 33rd anniversary and the food was excellent!
We ate outside so the noise level was comfortably low. This has become out go to steakhouse. My wife had steak frites. The steak was a perfect M/R. I had a Caesar salad with a site of mashed & spinach. Also perfect
