It's a soothing place with delicious Indian food and beautiful ambience. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. I found the food sufficiently flavoured, not too loud or nor too subtle. Helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant fits about 30 people and can be a good get together place. The only downside is parking space because it's more like a community market with stores like dollar store, nail and hair spa, grocery marts etc.
Stopped here for lunch on a Friday by chance on way to shopping for lighting. Food was excellent. Fresh, hot, well spiced. Clean bright dining area. Friendly server. So good we took a carryout menu even though it's a 40 minute drive from home.
This place is exquisite! It's the perfect place to go eat with friends/family, have a date, or just enjoy a delicious meal. The staff are super nice and the food is always freshly made. If you go you should definitely try the goat curry, it's tender and very savory and the portion sizes are very filling!
Delicious made to order authentic Indian food! I'm fairly new to the neighborhood and I've discovered my go-to Indian restaurant. Garlic Naan was the best I've ever had...same goes for the lentil soup. Very clean, and servic was great. We will be back!!
The staff is friendly and attentive, the food was amazing. I had Garlic Naan and butter chicken, they had something for everyone I had dairy free and vegan in my group and they enjoyed their food.The only problem was we all asked for water and got water bottles that were was almost $3 each, that ridiculous. I could've went outside to my car and got bottle of water for free and didn't find out til the bill came.I am definitely only doing pick up orders, but food is amazing and I will make 30min drive to go again and again.
I had a great experience with Mumbai Darbar. I was entertaining a friend and his family who are vegan. I am not very familiar with the strict vegan diet so I decided to come into the restaurant for advice. They took the time to explain each menu item and proposed options and quantities. I had the meal delivered and we couldn't have been happier with the suggested entrées, appetizers and of course Naan. Everything was delicious!
Ordered food for the first time from this joint located in the stripe mall near s van dorm streetThe food is awesome , tandoori jumbo wings and the butter chicken along with the garlic naan a good combination for ur butter chicken are my favorite which made me go crazy to order from this place.
Ordered food delivery from them and amazing service the food was hot and the delivery was on time, I really appreciate Mumbai darbar for the excellent food and service.will be their next regular all time customer.
So we decided to give Mumbai Darbar another try and I am more disappointed than before.Since it had been over 1 1/2 hours since I ordered, I called to check on the status of my food, and after 2failed phone numbers and 1less than happy voicemail I was called back only to be told it should be delivered in 5min as the driver had already left to deliver (I live 8mins away). So of course I was frustrated, but then 30 additional mins went by and nothing, which makes me think my food was never made. We called again and the woman on the phone, Juti I think, placed the phone down to take an order without any warning, and came back only to say she didn’t know the location of my food.It finally did show up 2hrs later but it honestly wasn’t worth the hassle and back and forward.
Malai Kofta was so bad I couldn’t eat it at all. Bhindi super oily. Rice is dry and not of good quality. Overall, I regret ordering.
