we ordered mix sushi and nigiri and it was perfect and delicious , We have tried many sushi restaurants in the area but this was the best one. ?
Fresh Toro, fresh french roll of crab and avocado; sushi, the freshest sashimi of tuna, salmon, sea bass, and miso ramen are just the best. Why? Freshest quality fish, ramen broth is well-prepared and of course, fresh seaweed salad. This is a substantial, no frills, fresh quality restaurant. Come here na, imagine to dine here twice in just three days!
I recommend this establishment. Friendly and clean! I had the Spicy Miso Ramen. The broth was flavourful. It was spicy just the way I like it! We only go to the one in DC but now we will be coming here more often.
Everything was sooooo good! It was my first time eating at this restaurant...service was great rolls were AMAZING! Will definitely be back!
I've been here often over last year. Good value & good food. Really like the ramen, especially Ramen to go kits that are thoughtfully & well done.
We absolutely love coming here. The sushi is so good and fresh and the service is pretty fantastic too. I will admit that planning an outing to Matsui on a Saturday is tricky because they are usually very busy (which I love for them!). The solution? Call ahead and make reservations! They are very accommodating.
I decided to pick a sushi place to get dinner for my girlfriend. An order of dumplings, a small bowl of Miso soup, and 2 rainbow rolls that were the tiniest things I've ever seen cost me approximately $37. Honestly the amount of fish and rice used for 2 rainbow rolls is the same as one roll every other sushi place I have gone to in my entire life. I know there's inflation but good Lord. I do not feel the amount of food was worth the price. A small child could have easily polished off my order and still had room for dessert. I watched some orders on other people's tables which seemed to have larger rolls as well as bowls of Ramen that looked looked adequately filling in proportion size. My brief encounter with the staff however was very pleasant and friendly.
We enjoyed our food. The sushi was our favorite. The ramen broth needed more flavor, it was pretty weak for me. My husband had the miso and I think I had the shoyu ramen. I added some dashi, sesame oil and tamari to mine when I got home.OH! BEST THING IN MY RAMEN THAT I'LL GO BACK FOR WAS THE RAMEN EGG????! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
This is a small little place with some decent options. I enjoyed my spicy miso Ramen. If you're in the area, please check them out.
Came here for sushi and ramen noodle soup. I recommend the sushi but not the salty ramen soup. Also the place close in the middle of the afternoon so better call ahead or you will get rushed or have to wait longer. Would come back for sushi but not anything else on the menu.
