Loved this restaurant. Loved the food. Service was fine. Then went to pay. We only had 5 in our party and were charged the obligatory 18% service for parties >6. OK. No worries, was going to tip the same. Then came the handheld device to pay - with the Tip Screen active asking for 15%, 18% or 20% tip. Wait. I just got charged that on the bill! Any restaurant that does this gets a negative review from you. Had I not read the bill carefully I would have double tipped. This is a deceptive business practice and shouldn't be tolerated! When you have already charged the 18% on the bill you should NOT show the customer the tip screen. Please fix this! Again, great food, service was fine, but please change this practice.

Great authentic Thai Place! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and food options available! The Musaman Curry was very good. It had great flavor I just wish there was more meat.
Food was great! Best Pad See Ew I’ve had in the DMV area and the veggie rolls were nice and crispy. The view was beautiful from upstairs and the staff was really friendly. We live far away but it’s worth the drive.
Dependable restaurant. It Had never disappointed either with dine in or take out. We stick to a few dishes everytime we go there or order pick up so we know they stick to the recipe. It's a fairly popular food in our family that even my mother in law from Midwest likes. I will recommend this place is anyone wants Thai food in old town area.
Why can't I post 7 or 8 stars??We had a late lunch. I had a Tom Yum Mushroom which is likely THE BEST soup I've ever had! My wife had the same with chicken. Personally, the chicken distracts from the flavors IMHO. It might be better with prawns. It's a Galangal root soup with lemon grass, lime leaves Thai spices and peppers. Boil it up, let the ingredients get friendly, and it's a flavor explosion! Yum, indeed.My wife had grilled marinated whole rainbow trout stuffed with lemon grass and Thai herb served with julienne mango sauce. That was very tasty. I had Chili Crispy Duck. It was awesome!Fabulous!

Dropped in the other evening after an event and was very happy we did. We didn't really have a plan, just chose the spot since it was less busy than some of the other places on the main drag here and had outdoor seating. Got a seat immediately. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The right amount of attention the whole meal. The food was really good. Started off with the roast duck salad appetizer and then had honey-ginger duck main and beef MUSAMAN CURRY. All were really good (I realized I did two duck entrees too late, usually don't double-duck). The duck was cooked to perfection in the salad, a nice amount of heat that let you taste all the spices but wasn't work to eat. The honey-ginger duck came with a generous portion of perfectly cooked veggies in the sauce, and had a spot-on honey-ginger flavor that was easy and enjoyable to eat. The musaman curry was super tender beef chunks, not strips, chunks, also with the right amount of heat, peanuts and veggies. We'll definitely be eating here again, can't wait to try their other entrees.
