We were hopeful and sorely disappointed. On a Friday night, we were surprised when we got seated pretty quickly as a party of 2. But it took a while for anyone to come by for drinks, and then our order. Where as it looked like a couple that were “regulars” and another table of 4 that were seated after us, all got their meals and desserts by the time we got our apps. Food was okay. Papusas were the star. But I’ll continue my search for Tex-Mex…
My husband and I love Los Tios Grill! We're vegetarians so it's often hard to find options (other than spinach enchiladas) when eating Tex Mex. But Los Tios has plantain quesadillas, which are *delicious* and I've never seen anyone else offer them. The food and drinks are always delicious and the service has been pretty spot on as well ? Would highly recommend!
Service was poor, asked for our food order before offering drinks. Main course took forever to come. Food wasn't anything special. We had chips and salsa of course, chili con queso, platanos, then enchiladas and some other platter that had strips of meat, fajita vegetables, and French fries mixed in ? black beans were watery, no flavor, and something that was supposed to be garlic sauce that was tasteless. Won't return, too many other good Mexican places to eat
Mexican food is one of my favorites, and I wanted to love this place but I really couldn’t. It still gets three stars because the people there are fantastic and really friendly. The food was just not as good as I was hoping. The yuca was pretty good but the rice and beans tasted old and reheated and the sauce the steak was smothered in was too much and too sweet. The margaritas were really weak, even for a restaurant. Will probably go back because it’s so close and will update if needed.
I went to Los Tios Grill with my project team for lunch and it was good. The chips were light and the salsa was descent. I enjoyed the burrito very much.
Customer service is excellent and food is delicious! Our server Rosa was so sweet and attentive. They were so sweet to our daughter and we loved the salvadorian and Mexican dishes - pupusas were so good!!
Great service, great food, great story behind the opening of this place by the friendly owner! Also, Los Tios used to donate food for Hispanic Heritage events. Very good connection with the community ?
I visited this restaurant on 12/12, and I loved everything from the music to the atmosphere to the customer service. The portion of food is worth the selling price, and the taste is fresh and authentic. I had the chicken chimichanga while my friend had the chicken burrito (pictured). I give extra kudos for the fact that they offer ginger ale as a drink option. Endless chips and salsa is always a plus but Jessica and Oscar ensured that our needs were met before we could even anticipate them. I don’t oftentimes eat Mexican, but I will eat here whenever I’m nearby.
This was the first time I’ve ever tried a Pupusas, and I don’t understand how I’ve made it 40+ years without having one! It was delicious! Now that I’ve eaten one,I’ll need have them at least once a week. It’s just makes delicious sense.
We went there with grand kids. They were going to split a taco plate. One of 3 tacos came empty. When we told the server, she said that they must have emptied it. My Burrito was small. I left hungry. My wife's Fajita was ok, but nothing to rave about.
