The service was fast, sushi master was on site, and the sushi were fresh.
Very unhygienic-- scary esp for sushi place (saw 2 small roaches!??) Suggest trying "May Island" which is clean + better ambiance! EDIT TO ADD: If the owner can't accept the truth and realities of being in a public space with online reviews, too bad. Everyone consider what I said and do go to MAY ISLAND, which is just several blocks from here! :)
Sorry but it was 9:30pm. And what we order was not worth for what we pay. Sushi was not fresh. Never doing that again. Expensive lesson
Americanized SeafoodI really wanted to like this place but I simply can't recommend what is basically Americanized seafood flavors in the shape of a sushi roll. There are no authentic flavors or ingredients. If I wanted crab cakes (which I do like) I'd go to a place that serves that. I like Japanese food and this place doesn't do that.I ordered the specialty "tiger roll" and it tastes basically disgusting. There is some kind of Americanized cream seafood sauce on top and the roll just falls apart. It's gross. I did order a basic tuna roll and which was avocado and tuna and that was fine, but it wasn't great.Super disappointed. I thought this would be a step up from Fresh's sushi bar, but it's not, it's a step down at a higher price. I took a date here and it was really embarrassing.
Owner acknowledged my 4* rating. Automatic increase to 5*. Food's also good.
The sushi here was a bit underwhelming. I'm used to getting larger rolls and more for the price. I'd ordered a flamingo roll and a salmon nigiri roll. No miso soup came with the order, had to be ordered separately. Service was nice and the place is nicely setup. Overall it was about $30 without tip.
Good specialty rolls. I could tell some of the fish wasn't suuuper fresh but it didn't get me sick so ?♂️
We ordered $16 dollar rolls and they were so tiny and did not look like the pictures. The sushi is downsized and it’s a rip off. Also, the menu was so unprofessional how the prices were tapped on.There are way better sushi restaurants around the area, skip this one.
Beautiful place! Beautiful decorations! Great! Foods! Great service! Just 10 minutes walk from our place! Love it
Got a large portion of food, which was delicious and ready for pick-up in a timely manner. And the owner, I'm assuming, was so kind. I came into get takeout when that unexpectedly heavy snow storm came through, he genuinely seemed concerned for my well-being traveling on the roads and appreciative of my business. Definitely going to be ordering from here again.
