I had high hopes for this place but it was a big disappointment. We were visiting from Texas and heard about this restaurant from a friend. However, she visited the one in Maryland. We decided to try this location because it was closer to the airport we came in on. We hadn't eaten all day, so we were quite hungry. The atmosphere was nice with R&B music playing in the background. We were told it would be an hour wait. We decided an hour was doable. But we actually waited more than a hour and half. Once seated it took 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge and take our order. My sister and I ordered the chicken and french toast, my daughter had the seafood omelette with potatoes and my husband had the lamb chops and grits. We waited another 45 minutes for our food. The lamp chops and grits were perfection absolutely delicious and I wish I had ordered it. The chicken with my dish was well seasoned and crispy. The French Toast was dry... not sure if it's prepared differently in the North, but there was no butter or egg on the toast. It was sweet and that's about it. My daughter's potatoes were cold. We spent 3 hours at this restaurant...to me a waste of time.
We RSVP’d for brunch 6/11/22. The food was really good but the service was horrible. We started our order with a carafe for Passionfruit Mimosas and 2 Moscow mules. The server said they didn’t have passion fruit so we ordered mango. After 10 mins she brought the carafe no drinks. After 20 mins we asked about our drinks and she said she forgot to ask what type of Vodka we wanted. We waited another good while before she mentioned they didn’t have ginger beee and couldn’t make our drinks. Then we had to drink the mimosas out of plastic cups because they said the champagne glasses were in the dishwasher. I had a hair in my shrimp and grits? They brought me a new one but It took like 30 additional minutes. Then we asked for a hookah and they said they didn’t have all the pieces to make a complete hookah but we were assured we would be next. However two tables received hookahs before us and these tables were seated after us. The entire experience was horrible. The server Jasmine apologized profusely and it’s not her fault but it definitely wasn’t worth what we paid. Will not recommend.
Such an unexpected location in a corporate park but, the vibe is immaculate. There's greenery, the outdoor seating area has umbrellas and heaters. We chose to sit inside. I felt it was a little bit noisy, everyone was having a great time and enjoying those they were dining with. The food and the service 100% worth the drive from anywhere. I had the catfish and grits, delicious and the portion was huge. My brunch buddy has the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were large and the grits had lump crab meat as well. We shared a half order of French toast and it was perfect since our other dishes were savory. We did not have alcohol and our bill was 72.00 before tip. It's pricey but, the vibe, food and portion sizes justify the price. Go and bring your appetite!
Had the pleasure of visiting this location. James our bartender was extremely attentive. Our service with him was unmatched. He also worked along side with a very happy energetic female with short blonde hair. They were all excited to see that it was our first time there. Happy hour was nice. The drinks were great. Not a lot of the happy hour menu to eat. But the drinks were good. Jason who’s the owner brother. Came by to chat with us. He was extremely nice and excited we came, welcomed us and expanded on the restaurant and what it offers and dj and we enjoyed it. The fact that he came over to make sure we were good. Was a plus. The young lady KIa also noticed we didn’t like how our hookah was done so she went and hooked it up so that was a great plus. The prices are expensive. But you get what you pay for in my opinion. The deviled eggs need to be more deviled. The chicken was the only thing that had flavor. We over all had a really good time. Mix and mingle drinks hookah music patio vibes. Bathrooms are CLEAN!
The food and service was great. I got the chicken & French toast and my partner got the fried lemon pepper lamb chops and both were soo good. It was a pleasant surprise that they had a DJ and hookah. The bartender James service was great as well. I definitely will be back!I also watched them sanitize tables between use and they asked each patron to sanitize thier hands before being seated which I greatly appreciated.
I ordered the Fried Honey Lemon Pepper lamb chops that come with cheese grits and spinach. It was absolutely delicious and a new take on traditional lamb chops. I would highly recommend!
EXTREMELY SALTY!I drove up on a Sunday before closing. The loud and rude bartender took my order. The shrimp and grits were good. BUT the seafood salmon did not have the large shrimp in it and was inedibly salty! I had to throw it away. Nibbling on it gave me a terrible headache. Disappointed.
This place exceeded any expectation I had. From the time me and my partner walked in. Customer service was just wonderful this is a big deal for me since it seems no one wants to work now a days. Food was absolutely wonderful and alcoholic beverages were even better I live in maryland but I def will take the drive to visit again. Oh and it’s blacked owned which is even better!!!
Finally! A great Cajun and seafood dining experience. The food is delicious and the staff has the “cheers” vibe. Who knew Sunday brunch in the suburbs can be a hip hop happening place!! Now our Go To girls get together and date night. A must go to place!! Come out and say HI to our new bartender friends, James & Danni.
excellent food and service. will be back!!!!
