I like Jimmy Johns and I love how incredibly fast they make their sandwiches. That being said I've had several instances with this particular franchise where the delivery service was abhorrent. From them getting my orders wrong, forgetting drinks, taking 30-60 mins to arrive to rude customer service on occasion. Most of the staff is pleasant to deal with and I've never had any issues whatsoever in person. I stopped ordering delivery obviously but still recommend. They are neck and neck with Chick-Fil-A with the fastest service and have banging food. It's just their delivery that sucks. Best cookie as well in my opinion.
Never received my delivery order even though the app said it was delivered. Delivery driver lied and said he delivered it but he never did because we were waiting the entire time. Called the store number at 4:54 and he said he couldn't remake my order because the store was closed. Another lie. I just want my money back. He said he would void the order and refund my money but how can I trust that? Hands down worst customer service I've ever received.
They would not accommodate my simple request I was extremely disappointed with Mason's customer service. He was so rude in saying we don't do that here. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager?!?!? My request was simple, wrap the halfs separately. I just can't eat the whole thing at once. I have made this request probably 30 - 40 times.I was went down the street to a different Jimmy John's and they didn't even hesitate to wrap them separately.
There is an employee there who is rude on the phone and in person. Regardless how nicely I tried to speak to him, he sounds annoyed and rushes on the phone. And in person, the same rude tone and and very unpleasant to deal with and gets upset if he didn’t hear what was said or if you ask questions. This is not the first time and it has occurred several times. Another time, we ordered a large group order and pit in on one card, and he was so rude to my aunt she ended handing me the phone. This is not okay at all. There is no need for inappropriate way of speaking to someone and being disrespectful.I will say the rest of the employees are very nice. He has been there for maybe a year or so and this has never happened at This store before. So now none of us go this store because of this unpleasant employee.
Went in to get a sandwich on my lunch break. Customer service was very poor after I went back out to my car to get money to pay for my order. When I came back in I was asked several times if I payed for what I purchased when trying to laugh it off after being asked several times I jokingly said something to the cashier and he immediately took offense I regret going in and I won’t be back after I left out the manager then talked to another customer in inference to me. I’m gonna hallowed it up to poor customer service and the energy of this place. The manager really doesn’t lead by example….
Service is horrible, food at this location is never fresh.
I had a issue with the food. I informed the manager and owner politely. They refused to admit their mistake. And just ended up ignoring me. I was so disappointed.The Springfield branch has better staffs!
Decided to order delivery from Jimmy John's on Dow Ave because I didn't want to go out to pick it up. Placed our order and it was supposed to arrive at about 2:00PM but 2:45PM rolled around and no order so I called. The lady I spoke with said that the delivery driver said he delivered it and she was going to check and confirm and was, I had assumed, going to call me back but she never did. So I called back 20 minutes later to find out that the delivery driver said he delivered it. We'd been home the entire time and not once did we receive a knock on the door (my dog would have put up a fuss but she didn't). Massively disappointed in this JJ's and their delivery service. The one thing my wife asked for on Mother's Day and they royally screwed it up. Safe to say I'll never ask for delivery from them again and may go to a different store now instead.
I showed up at opening time on a Saturday and the woman was so overwhelmed with pickup orders. She told me I could wait 15 minutes for bread because the pickups were a priority and they were all large orders (meanwhile my kids are waiting in the car).Not for families - maybe good for lunch catering orders.
Always quick and delicious! Staff is friendly. Try the kickin' ranch sauce if you haven't already.
