It was my first time dining there and everything was wonderful. We ordered several appetizers and entrees and all were delightful. Weâll definitely visit again. And thank you Coreen, you were a fantastic waitress!

All I would recommend this restaurant with no reservations. The staff was attentive. We had shrimp and grits and the fries chicken and waffles. Dishes were very good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the grits were smooth and creamy, no lumps. The salad greens were crispy and the chicken was cooked crispy and succulent. We agreed we would come again. One draw back, it. doesnât take to many people in the space to not get loud. I still recommend Hen Quarters in Alexandria in the DMV.
Their brunch is outstanding. It's plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend!

This is the third time Iâve had brunch at the Hen Quarter and the fourth time overall. Iâm never disappointed with the service or food. Great place canât wait to go again.
First time but not last time. I really enjoyed the food and thought everything was good, except the shrimp and grits - the worst Iâve ever had.
Had brunch with the family (including 3 toddlers) and we all enjoyed our food (shrimp and grits, deviled eggs, fruit, chicken tenders). The staff were great and welcoming of our kids (and their energy). We will be back!
The food was on point we had the Catfish, Collard Greens, Mac & Cheese, Chicken & Waffles, Chicken Cracklings and Skillet of Cornbread. Definitely a return visit.
