We kept meaning to try this place and finally got to. The Johnny B . Good is a frozen custard/banana pudding with pieces of real banana and cookies in it. The Jukebox (I think?) was a fantastic chocolate and peanut butter treat. The staff was friendly and attentive. It's not fast, since they make them for you as ordered. They also take cash, Apple pay, and Zelle, as opposed to most cards. In my opinion, it's well worth it. The stuff they make is great, it's a fun place to sit and enjoy.

Today was my 1st visit and what a great experience it was! Perfect day for frozen custard. I had the banana pudding and my son had the apple cider donut, absolutely delicious! Nice sitting area and the umbrellas provided the right amount of shade. The music was great!

This is one of my favorite spots in Alexandria. The treats are delicious and freshly made. The service is great. The local partnerships are awesome. I can’t tell you what treat is my favorite. I’ve never been disappointed. My only suggestion is to have some table umbrellas for shade. I haven’t experienced the truck as of yet. Brandon, the owner, is very welcoming and sociable, as well as knowledgeable about so many things. I love that he takes time to get to know people and he genuinely cares about his establishment and the people who support him. ?

We had a great experience here! The owner Brandon is super nice and charismatic - he took time to speak with each guest and answer any questions about the menu. I got this apple cider donut with creamy custard ice cream that was just to die for. They have a beautiful location - it’s an old Ice House on a corner in Old Town Alexandria. They have nice seating outside. This is the perfect place to go on a hot summer day! This is also a Black owned business!

Visited here twice. Great frozen custard! The owner is nice and personable. Just a heads up when you do visit, they only accept cash and contactless payment methods such as Zelle, Apple Pay, etc….this will definitely be my go-to spot!

Good frozen custard. There's no inside seating, so I took advantage of the cool, cloudy day to sit outside and enjoy my sundae ($8.00) while listening to golden oldies.

Promptly greeted by one of the owners. He walked us through their menu. I tried their red velvet ice cream sandwich, it was a very rich and velvety dessert. I also ordered their ginger beer...it was definitely a lip smacker...very refreshing in the summer heat.

The best!! Love going here. Was hoping to try the Johnny B Goode, but they ran out of rootbeer. So, went with one of my go to's: Route 66. So good! Staff are awesome as always! My first Goodie's experience was actually at Eastern Market in DC out of their vintage ice cream truck years ago! They were awesome then (letting me take pix of their vintage style with my film cam), they're awesome still!

This place is amazing, I had the banana pudding with vanilla custard on top! Sooooo amazing. I need to get the red velvet next time.

What’s not to love about a phenomenal dessert shop? It can’t hurt being housed in a perfectly manicured, idyllic building on a quiet street in historic Old Town. Donned in 1950s nostalgia, the lure of Goodies is hard to resist with its offerings of frozen custard, donuts and homemade toppings. But the most addictive item on the Goodies menu is the genuine kindness the owners serve up to every one of their patrons. Customer service is what they do best. Go for the treats. Keep coming back for the treatment.
