I always get shrimp lo main and it's always delicious. Can't complain one bit to be for real. I can be high or sober, I go here for my Chinese food
Best Hot and Sour soup, full of goodies! Especially in the winter. I ordered a large one and it lasted me for two days. Wonderful!
BLAND. I had high hopes based on others reviews. However, my food was very bland. I ordered orange chicken and combination fried rice. Like one of the other reviewers said, it tasted like General Tso chicken. The fried rice was cooked well, but it had no taste. I don't know how this place got great reviews. Did I go on a bad night? There was no line and no one in the parking lot. I'm very disappointed I spent $23.20 for dinner and wish I had just gotten pizza for the night.
A tasty take-out counter style restaurant with your standard assortment of Chinese-American food. They’re quick and the food is quite good. If you have a hankering for Chinese then definitely get Good Luck!
Best Chinese Place in Alexandria. My girlfriend is pretty picky with food in general, and she’s loved everything we’ve had from there. For context, we’ve had the Chicken Fried Rice, Pork Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken, General Tso Chicken, Fried and Steamed Dumplings, and of course the White Rice and Orange Chicken which I might add is incredibly tasty!Great place with good people
Just ordered some General Tso’s chicken from here for carry out and it’s honestly some of the freshest, best tasting Generals chicken I’ve ever had. Very, very unassuming storefront but definitely recommend giving it a try. I look forward to coming back soon.
I have been coming here since forever like I’m in my 30s and I was in my teens when I first heard . I can actually say I haven’t had any problems here is always good and quick . One time I got upset because I moved and they wouldn’t delivered lol besides that I love this place
Hello all.I ordered Combo rice noodle,The shrimp egg foo young,And the wonton soup.I don't think a lot of people understand the American Chinese food.I grew up in California.As a child, many of my weekendsWe're going to visit my uncle In San Francisco and it was a daily thing to go to Chinatown.I am 62 years old.I have tried Chinese food, or American Chinese food,From many places from the west coast to the East Coast.The reason I stress American Chinese food, is because that is whatAmericans are used to.I could have used a little bit more shrimp in my order.But that is what is going on now with covid and trying to get ingredients with the owner trying to get deliveries.. no truckers to deliver food. When you try to order food to go or delivery.It's all okay.Because the taste that you will get from Good LuckChinese,Is nothing but incredible.This place has been an institutionFrom back in the 80s.It has been almost forty years.This place really does do quality food.You will not be disappointed.
Luckily, we ate the food before the egg rolls. The food was good ( we had chicken & broccoli, combination seafood used imitation crab meat, and crispy szechuan beef), but the egg rolls tasted worse that store bought frozen ones!
I've tried just about every Chinese takeout place in Alexandria and Good Luck is the best I've had. Really glad they survived closing for COVID.
