Hopefully it’s just an anomaly, but a grocery story worker just picked raw broccoli up off the floor and put it back in the pile. Yes, you should wash your vegetables before you eat them, but you should also be able to expect they haven’t been on the floor in high traffic areas. Broccoli is not an apple that can be easily washed. It has TONS of surface area that holds on to stuff.

Update. I ordered again today. 6 items were deleted by Giant, and they say they did not do it. I know exactly what I ordered. The price dropped by $14. Those are items missing. The reason I ordered was because butter was on sale. Missing are 2 lbs butter, 1/2 gallon milk, 1 pk Giant brand ham lunchmeat, 1-6 pk fun size candy bars, and 1 tomatoe. These items total just under $14. My missing items. Next time I order, I will copy the order to my gallery and prove they deleted them. I suggest if you order, you do the same. Two stars because you never get the delivery right. I went for a time of 5 to 7.My groceries were delivered at 8.There is absolutely nothing wrong with your delivery people. They are 100% very cordial very nice. You however, as a corporate, Have to figure out how to fix this problem.I am completely unsatisfied.

One of three Giants I shop at. Not the easiest to get to after 3pm during the week, but has a different selection of natural and healthy items compared to Annandale and Lincolnia. Every time I've come here it's always clean and easy-in-easy-out. Parking can be a task in itself because it's within a congested area. Aside from that, love coming here, especially before or after getting barbecue at Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company- Alexandria Store (check that review too - minutes from one another).

Had a hard time finding some items but love the job performance from Eric in Seafood. Their Crab legs are delicious

Won't shop anywhere else. I save $1.50 a gallon for gas and that is awesome. I love the prices and selection at this store.

feels weird to write a review about a food shopping place but My cashier terry was an absolute sweetheart. I’m frustrated however because a lot of the products here at this store are expired. I’m writing this is february 2022 and saw a lot of stuff on the shelves that expired in december 2021 and even earlier.

Love it here but uhh last time I went there was quite literally No milk except almond and oat

Nice Giant, wide selection. Good parking, easy access to Duke St. Has a bakery along with a nice deli section.

I like this Giant store although I don't get here often. It's always clean and welcoming. Large produce area and I find the store to be well laid out.

The way the Mayor and City Council are handling Duke Street traffic (by blindly turning an eye to the cause of it being the poor infrastructure and design of Alexandria West End not accommodating to the surge of cut thru 395-495 Marylanders and the lack of N-S/E-W connectivity coupled with the skyrocketing growth of Mark Center and Carlyle Center) have made shopping here impossible between 12:00pm and 9:00pm most days.Couple that with the unbelievable decisions to place DASH, WMATA, ACPD, and ACPD fleet headquarters all within two blocks at the one of just two of aforementioned arterial intersections and you've completely made the off peak hours that much more difficult.Lastly add in the various exit requirements like no right on red with the ACPD sitting there pulling people over at 5am on Sundays or the new red light turn cameras and what should've been motivated by traffic reduction is clearly now quote obviously motivated by revenue generation as there's other such points on Duke that have similar traffic laws that are time boxed as this one should be.At the end of the day, the incompetent city government since the new mayor Justin and his holy on high attempt to stop cut through in his neighborhood so his children can play in the street has pushed all the traffic onto Duke and this 20year three properties owning resident to put up for sale and move out of the area into a NOVA community that doesn't elect government contract PMPs as their part-time mayor.Yes Alexandria mayor and City Council are part time, non paid positions for some too. The motivation and caliber of those attracted to such are unfortunately what the now similar size.to Saint Louis, MO city of Alexandria,VA has to suffer consequences daily.
