I had the meatball grinder and it was really quite good. My wife had the eggplant park (melanzane all parma) and enjoyed it. Beet salad was OK but it was a lot of arugula and the dressing could have been just a bit sweeter to offset that much bitter green. Meanwhile, we're watching a parade of pizzas move out the door for pickup. I think that was a sign... we liked our lunch but want to return for the pizza! Two mains and a side plus two drinks was $55, nice for this area. We'll be back!

I love this place. When I worked in Clarendon, this was my Office's go-to pizza place. I was delighted to discover the sister restaurant in Old Town. The owner checks on everyone during dinner and made us feel very welcome. They have a lot more than just pizza too. Cocktails have a generous pour of alcohol in them. Parking is a little tricky, but there is plenty of street parking within a block-- don't expect to park out front. The patio seating is great.
First time experiencing this Italian restaurant and it was good. Here’s the consensus from my group I went with tonight. Food - salad was great (Cesar and Trattoria). Dressing were homemade and tasty. They placed the dressing for the trattoria on the side which was considerate. The wood oven baked Pizza was tasty, but I don’t eat it on the regular if I am being honest. My boyfriend and his friends said it was a little soggy, but it was due to us adding additional ingredients on the pizza. Service was excellent! Mayra was prompt, friendly and polite to everyone. Everyone enjoyed the great service. Vibe - we seat outdoors because it was that late spring 80 degrees weather and it was a nice chill vibe. Nice hanging lights and good distance from the street too. Parking - tons of street parking but there’s a parking garage behind the restaurant street. You’ll see a park sign on a side of a building and it’s on the right side. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for an Italian meal or drink!
X Joe, the owner, greeted us at the door and from that moment on treated us like old friends! We ordered the eggplant app and sausage and pepperoni pizza- both truly amazing. For dessert, a chocolate mousse that will blow your mind! To top off our experience, Joe drove us to a local apartment complex he recommended for when we move to town. I’m so happy we’re moving here so I can make eating at Faccia Luna a regular event! Thanks!
This place is horrible! This was my red and golden beets salad. I got home and opened my food and this was my salad. 3 pieces of beets. My pasta was soaking in grease and when I called to complain they told me that my food probably went down after 2 hours and there was nothing they could do. My other salad order of salad was wrong! I paid a lot of money for my Easter dinner. I could have gone to domino’s and gotten better food and better prices for sure! I am Italian and I will definitely never eat there again! Costumer service was terrible and kept blaming me for not eating the food as soon as I got home!
I went to Fascia Luna last night for the first time in several months. I love the Trattoria salad with salmon and was looking forward to it immensely. However, they have significantly raised their prices, and the salad was $15 plus another $9 for the salmon! There’s no way I’m going to pay $24 just for a salad! Instead, I got a small Caesar salad with salmon. The salmon was fine, but the salad was mediocre. The lettuce didn’t seem to be very fresh, and I didn’t feel well that night or the next morning. And that was $17! I know times are tough, but pricing your customers out of the market isn’t going to help. We will not be returning anytime soon. We only stayed because it was late, and we were hungry.
Mozzarella and tomato was OK, but the tomatoes were neither ripe nor flavorful. The Luna cheese steak sandwich was average at best.
I have a hard time passing up a meatball sandwich, and I'm really glad I didn't today! It may have well been the best one I've ever had. The meat was very flavorful and just firm enough. The perfect amount of sauce. And the bread was crisp and toasty on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. I'll be back for another!
We have frequented Faccia Luna for at least 15 years now and it's still our favorite local pizza. Ingredients are so fresh. We love to take our out of town guests here.
