My favorite donuts are cake style. So I love this place
Warm, delicious. Flavors change all the time, but are always able to get your favorites. I had these first in Duck and am so glad I can have a piece of the Outer Banks, whenever I want.
In short:If you want a tasty donut like one in the photo then find a chance and go.For the maple bacon: made very quickly, fat trimmed off the bacon, and one of if not the best donuts I've had. It was like breakfast in the shape of a donut (minus the eggs).
This is beyond thee most sloppy donuts, I have ever seen. Extremely tooooo much Icing??. This presentation is horrible. Totally not customer satisfaction. I am very disappointed.
These are so good! This place was clean and there were so many options. We’ve been eating these donuts in OBX for over a decade and I’m so excited there are some closer to home now! The maple bacon donuts are the best! All of them are better eaten hot, but they’re all good!
This place used to be 5-Star, now is barely a 2. The service is extremely slow, cold and poorly trained. I’m to the point that if I see the older lady or older gentleman working I just turn around. It’s not worth the experience of dealing with their poor worth ethics and lack of motivation; especially their incompetency. Calling and placing orders over the phone is excruciating and often results in me hanging up after 5-8 minutes of waiting (never put on hold) listening to the conversations and noise of the store.Why would I pay the same price ($45 before tax) for unglazed donuts as glazed/decorated donuts. More importantly, why would I waiting close to an hour to have 24 donuts unglazed made? Ridiculous, simply ridiculous.Please dismiss those awful employees and improve hiring / training efforts. Nobody needs donuts, part of the fun is the experience. Thus store delivers awful experiences.
I am gonna give it a 4, but could argue its a 3. I didn't really enjoy it because of the batter used for the donuts. I prefer a dunking style donut, but these tasted more like a funnel cake batter. But the people I brought really like the place and were shocked on how good the donuts were. So Idk what to make of the place. Give it a shot.
I ordered curb side and they were ready before the order time. Beautiful Valentine assortment my kids loved them ❤
Love these donuts, but I wouldn't recommend their coffee. I ordered a Mocha and Macchiato and they gave me two watery cappuccinos.
Delicious, prep is often pretty messy & not consistent- especially ordering for delivery. If you love fruit flavors this is NOT the store for you - Strawberry drizzle & glaze are EXACTLY the same, I tossed out that donut from my half dozen, it was drowning in sickly sweet pink frosting. Same deal for the Lemon folks! If you like chocolate & other non-fruit flavors this is your shop - happy snacking!
