Promptly got a table, ordered drinks, got them 20 minutes later after asking the manager to find them. Saw our waiter twice in 55 minutes - they were not busy. Ordering food took finding another section's waiter. Tacos and other we food we ordered were pretty bland and just average. Bar drinks slightly weak for $12. We didn't complain but they knew we had issues as they gave us a $3 discount on a $55 bill.Had higher expectations based on past reviews.
We loved this place so much that we went twice in two days. Once for drinks and then to try the food. The variety of tequila is outstanding. They have everything from cheap tequila to high end tequila. The food was delicious. Our group had a variety of tacos, burritos, and other food. I highly recommend it, unless you have a group larger than five or six. The seating is very limited. We had a group of ten so we had to sit in two different areas of the restaurant. Service was excellent too. Only minus one star because of the limited seating. They have an upstairs, but it was closed during both of our visits.
Stopped in for a quick libation and had to try some tacos. seated close to the open front we had a view of the street action as well. a nice selection of signature martinis and cocktails. While waiting for the drinks I perused the menu and was drawn to creative selection of Tacos. As a Chicken guy , I tried THE CLUCK. A nice sized portion for snacking. Chicken was tasty and fresh and the toppings made a nice mélange of flavors. Had we not already planned dinner i could have stayed and just grazed ion various Tacos. The restaurant was purveying a busy pick up and take out business. Nice to see.
The tacos were good, carne asada was the best ? The street corn was excellent. The only part of the experience I didn’t like was the queso, unfortunately. It tasted starchy, like it was nacho cheese. Don’t let that distract you from coming here through, it was quite good otherwise!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything about our visit was amazing! The drinks were delicious. The Mexican corn appetizer had the best flavor. I chose 4 different tacos and they were all unique. I was told the burrito was great.The server was knowledgeable about gluten free and the menu was marked.
Came here on a Friday night (kitchen closed at 11p).... order the Guac, Steak & Bacon taco, Bulgogi taco, and empandas. SO GOOD.
Order a Mexican mule. Amazingly delicious. Also order food togo. The Forest gump Bubba gump shrimp Amazing. The surf& turf is on point. Great customer service. Looks to have almost any tequila you could think of.
I really enjoyed my tacos!! So flavorful! There was something for everyone on their extensive taco menu. The drinks were refreshing and service was quick. We sat at the bar and our bartender was very attentive. We will be back!!
Our server was fantastic, came over multiple times to ensure we were taken care of and the food was amazing! Burrito was the best value at $12. Super filling and tasty! Only compliant would be the 90 minute time for eating inside, but I can understand with how busy/popular it was
Had lunch with a friend today at Don Taco, first time. Nice cozy place, well laid out. The staff was there to help us, friendly and efficient. Though we were there for lunch and could not partake they do have a fully stocked bar. We ordered Tacos. Three Carne Asada for each of us. The tacos came out quickly and are authentic not "American". Each one consisted of two corn tortillas @ 4" in diameter with steak, white onions and chimichurri sauce. Very basic. These are similar to those I have had in Riverdale MD. The amount of meat was good for the size of the taco. Lots of flavor, grilled well. Everything blended nicely. A little hot sauce and good to go, very enjoyable. The cost considering the times and the location was very reasonable also. Will go again.
