Went to DRP on Mt Vernon and the hostess stated they were having trivia night and most tables were reserved, but had a hi-top open in the bar area. As we approached the hi-top, another employee approached us and stated we couldn't sit at the table and directed us to the bar. I assume this was the manager because she seemed to be running the show. I politely stated that we were sent to this table by the hostess and I got a very nasty look like I was from another planet and we were treated like a burden. After some debate between the employees while we stood there we were again offered the hi-top. My wife and her friend and I decided shortly after sitting that we didn't feel welcomed and we should bring our business to a friendlier more organized establishment. We are not that picky, but it was too awkward to be in the middle of their disorganization and we didn't feel they deserved our business. Del Ray Cafe got our business instead and the food and atmosphere was way better...so it worked out. Not for DRP though.

I love this place.I've been coming here since high school and they're just as good now as they were 5 years ago, the only thing that's really changed is they don't sell the BABS which was, unfortunately, my favourite. They did, however, find some brie in the back that they hadn't sold yet and were able to make it for me which was awesome.oh and Best. Ranch. Ever.
We opted for a non-traditional Easter meal during our Spring Break. So glad we did. The greeter/server was fantastic. The food came out quickly. We ordered several hand tossed pizzas. Wonderfully fresh ingredients. Highly recommended.
I've eaten here twice and the first time was prepandemic but the second time was today and the food was terrible obviously they're understaffed the bartender was great however my pizza was super wet and soggy and undercooked. Definitely not worth $17.00. :(
Best Pizza in Alexandria that I've had to date. I've tried all the standards on their menu and haven't been disappointed yet. Staff is jovial and the atmosphere is very neighborly =DI see some folks have had some bad experiences with service? Not sure as to why. But I'd like to submit the idea that EVERYONE is understaffed in the pandemic and all of us should be a little nicer to our servers because of that ;)Also, I only once got a pizza that wasn't the way i had asked and got a very sincere apology with my new pizza as well as credit towards my next pizza purchase.Having worked in food industry myself, I think that's as good as you can get.
Best margarita pizza I’ve ever had. Soft dough, so if you want a crispy pizza ask for it well done. Can’t wait to order again
Employees need to be trained in customer service. First impression was not good. Sat at bar. Tool forever to get served. Only accepted credit card and had to yell out name first. Bizarre. Will likely not be back.
We ordered vegan pizzas but our server didn’t tell us the crust was not vegan. When our order came out, not only was it not vegan, but it was the wrong order. They made pizzas on the fly, but it took about another 30 min to get new pizzas. So we sat about an hour without any food. We finally get our food and as you can see there’s a pepperoni on my pizza. I was too hungry to complain and wait for a new one so I ate half of it. Service was slow because they were busy. The pizzas themselves were not good. As you can, my avocados are on the verge of going bad and the impossible meat on our other pizza was dry and hard. Manager came out and apologized and took off one pizza but we still paid $20 for a bad tasting pizza. Much rather have gone with &Pizza and call it a day.
