We love Clyde's at Mark Center. Wish it had been a little livelier for Sunday dinner. . .us and two other tables in the room. We ordered drinks and our dinners. The drinks came out with a basket of bread, followed immediately by dinner mate's soup and the entrees. Why this fast? We were in and out in less than an hour. Next time we will withhold our dinner order until the beverages (and maybe a starter) arrive. Diners shouldn't have to do this; kitchen and servers should manage. The rose wine was good, and my espresso martini a delight. The fried oyster platter was delicious. They were small but in a great batter covering. Old Bay fries were also good. My salad Nicoise with salmon was as described: crispy greens, flavorful tomatoes. The salmon serving was generous and perfectly cooked. However, it seemed that the oil that was used to sautee the salmon was then poured over the salad giving it an oily coating. There did not seem to be a separate salad dressing. Will go back. As there are many positives about Clyde's.

Had reservations for brunch with my mom and friend. The service did NOT disappoint! Cindy was amazing and very personable. Our food came out just as we ordered it and it was nice and fresh. We had the Western Frittata, Chicken and Waffles and an Omelette. Everything was delicious including our cocktails from the bar. We will definitely return!
We were going to be seated near a table where a very large party was to be seated. We asked to be moved but the person who seated us was very reluctant and it took some talking to get seated in a preferable spot.
I hadn't been to Clyde's in years. This was a great birthday celebration for my friend.

We have been going to Clyde's since they opened a restaurant in Alexandria. And although their service has always been good, we noticed an increase in attentiveness Friday evening.
Perfect date night, wonderful decor (nautical theme), our server (Danielle) was fantastic, we loved her! The food was delicious, the zucchini app we shared was very tasty, got some lemon aioli with the chipotle buttermilk sauce, wound up liking the chipotle sauce more. I had the filet, very tender, and those au gratin potatoes were cheesy amazingness!! Wife had a bowl of chili, some of the best she's ever had! So happy we finally ate here, this will be our new local spot (we live right down the street), we can't wait to come back and try more dishes, the menu looks incredible! The entire staff were very pleasant and friendly as well, thank you Clyde's, see you again soon!!
