I have been many times and it has always been good. Today my wife and I both thought our salads were outstanding in their taste and freshness. It has been a long wait for a great salad place in Kingstowne and fortunately the wait was worth it.
Been coming here pretty consistently since it first opened. I really enjoy making my own warm grain bowl but what is extremely frustrating is that they keep changing how many toppings you can put on. When it first opened I believe it was 3 then sometime later it was 4 and then today they said I can only add 3 toppings. I’m not sure what the policy is for Chopt as to how many toppings are included but this location seems to go back and forth. Also there is always a bad smell like when you first walk in the door. Anyway, will not be returning. And please don’t ask me to email just fix the problems people have been pointing out.
Never been to one of these places before, probably won't go back. My meal was sad and weird. Salad was soggy, bread was tiny and stale. Two pieces of chicken on the orchard salad, which came wrapped in saran wrap instead of having a real top. Is that standard for this chain? Seems gross, esp considering the other salad I ordered came in a bowl with a top.
I've ordered to go from here twice and both times an ingredient has been left out of my salad. This last time, today, I tried calling and no one answered. These salads are not cheap for them to forget key ingredients! I do not recommend you order to go if you want all of your ingredients in your salad.
I visited this restaurant several times back in December while I was staying close by for an out of town visit. Each visit was on point in every way possible. Fast forward six months and it's not the same restaurant.Once again I'm visiting from out of town. Today I stopped in for a shrimp & spinach salad.Customer service ZERO stars. The employee was inconvenienced by my presence, the atmosphere was awkward, uncomfortable, and un-inviting. The restaurant was "out of shrimp and out of spinach!" Since I don't eat chicken this left me with zero protein options, unless I opted for half a dozen eggs. I repeated most of my order two to three times- the employee was not interested or paying attention whatsoever. The price of bread served couldn't have been more stale. It was the end piece and brick hard. I don't think a stray dog would have eaten it.I was actually embarrassed for the employee and restaurant- the fact they're "operating" under such subpar standards; unable to perform even the most basic tasks of a hospitality establishment such as inventory management, customer service, and food quality says a lot about the overall establishment and management (or lack there of).With so many stellar restaurants to choose from in the area I don't recommend Chopt and definitely will not be back.Please don't reply asking me to email CHOPT customer service at dot com. I've already wasted enough time dealing with a salad restaurant being out of spinach!!!....serving a piece of brick as bread, dealing with Wednesday Adams Family customer service and writing a review to warn others. I am not spending more time emailing customer service. Next time I'll visit a restaurant who takes pride in their food AND service.
Don't get more wrong. Their food is good and I like it. But there are two details or lack there that I just catch get pass. The first is the that quality of the food isn't what it was before the pandemic. It all seems wilted to me. The second is that a little sauce versus a lot of sauce seems hard for them to decipher. I do not like my salad drenched in sauce. But the food is good when they do it right.
The salad was good for the most part. They put in too much "juice" from the roast chicken so it mixed with my dressing and sank to the bottom of the bowl and the salad itself felt naked. They ran out of both grilled and fried chicken at the beginning of the lunch rush... possibly poor planning? Hopefully I will get the chance to try next time.
A nice, clean place to stop off for a quick salad while shopping. All the ingredients in The Orchard Salad were things I like, so I didn't have to waste time making up my mind. Very nice staff.

Coming to this is location was wonderful. Shawn is amazing. He was so accommodating. Definitely try this place out.
