Located just over two miles north of Fort Belvoir's Tulley Gate, this newly opened restaurant proved to be a very delightful surprise. My husband and I had totally different meals and both meals were absolutely excellent. The chicken wings I had were big and plump and even juicy. My generous serving of French fries was cooked to perfection and served hot, as was my chicken. I was even treated to a side of celery sticks and carrots. My husband's beef brisket sandwich was also excellent, with a slow - cooked smokey taste. The restroom was very clean. And, in addition to all that, we were even given a military discount without asking for it when the gentleman processing our check saw my husband's I.D. card as he was getting out a credit card! Food and service doesn't get any better than this.

The brisket is to die for! My teenage grandson who lives to eat brisket said it was ten times better than any we've had anyplace else! Plus a huge amount. The bun was toasted perfectly. I had pulled pork and loved it and the Carolina sauce plus the Alabama White sauce was great in the coleslaw. Artichoke hearts were shared and enjoyed. I want to come back when I have more time to try wings, burgers, and the great beer and wine list.

Food was OK, not great. I ordered my burger with no tomato, but it was served with tomato. No problem, I'll take it off which I did. The server then took it off my plate with his bare hand.Service was frustrating, we were ready to order drinks and the server told us to wait and he'd get back to us. And he did return, after serving a couple of other customers at the bar, maybe his buddies, hard to tell. Also, both restrooms were dirty.Overall, my wife and I wanted to like this place. Reviews were pretty good and we want to support local businesses. However, we will likely not return.Opportunity wasted.

Perfect experience for a family with a toddler. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Our toddler spilled his drink on the ground and the bartender smiled and gave me a sample of 120 minute. We were able to wind down here after a long week.

5 stars for local feel and great beer selection. We need more mom and pop and less chains on the rt 1 corridor! There are always kinks when opening a new business so keep an open mind but overall I am very happy and plan to go back often.

It was okay. Being from Texas enjoy trying BBQ places when traveling. Pulled pork didn't have much flavor and sausage bombs were dry. Expect more of a "fresh" taste from mom & pop restaurants over pre-fab. Good variety of sauces!

Awesome Brisket sandwich and fries!

Cozy diner feel; prompt service; But WINGS were really lacking: they were bland, no salt or any seasoning and it was like they sauced them and forgot to season them. You'll get a huge plate of fries. And the BACON BOMBS appetizer saved our meal, delicious with sauce.

The hamburgers were awesome! and so were the wings!!. Will def. be going back.

Delicious food and the beer list is all craft beers (including some good surprises). I'm also looking forward to trying one of their cocktails. The bartender and the owner/manager were happy to chat about anything and everything during my visit. This is exactly what this area has been needing for some time. I look forward to my next visit.
