Went for brunch this past Saturday, arriving at 11:45. Restaurant wasn't too crowded. We went upstairs and sat at the bar which we've enjoyed in the past. The bartender was responsible not only for the bar, but all the dining tables upstairs with no assistance. Took about 15 minutes to get our drinks. He kept saying, 'I'll be right with you as soon as I ...' He was really trying to keep up, but between drinks, taking orders, and delivering food, he was slammed and literally running. We were in no hurry, but waiting a half hour to have your food order taken is a long time. At 12 noon, help arrived. A young woman 'bartender' joined him at the upstairs bar. He gave her some instructions about the tables and what was needed, but she felt the need to make a cold coffee drink with lots of whipped cream for herself, and then stood behind the bar, away from all customers, and enjoyed it for about 10 minutes. The male bartender continued to scramble doing the best he could to keep customers happy. Our food was good and was delivered hot and we enjoyed it. We didn't order a second drink, because we couldn't get either bartenders' attention. The male bartender is a credit to your restaurant...trying hard, cheerful, never complaining, doing his best to serve and keep customers happy. The young woman...useless. My suggestion, come after 12 noon and get a table or eat at the bar downstairs.
What a place! My wife found this place as we were exploring brunch places in Alexandria. The place has an amazing vibe, loved the ambience. Our server Alexander was really kind and friendly, he also helped us pick the correct menu items as we are vegetarians. We tried scrambled eggs with salad and fruit as sides and black bean veggie burger with salad as side. We loved the salad dressing, very unique in flavors. Overall a great experience, definitely coming back.
Food was really good. Cheeseburgers were amazing. Our family did not like that they let anyone and everyone from the streets to use their bathrooms. Sure enough, a tour bus pulled up front and everyone had to use the bathroom. So many people lined up in the middle of the restaurant. I did not feel Covid- safe, so everyone started putting their masks back on even while they were eating. Very uncomfortable evening. So we ate fast and got out as soon as we could. Poor waitress, she was 10 stars +. Trying to reassuring everyone. Great, great service !!!!!

This was my first time at this restaurant. I met my girlfriend and her son for dinner. The food was great and there was no wait for a table on a Sunday evening. The menu is not large, but I wasn’t unhappy with the choices they did offer. I ordered the crab cake plate which came with two crab cakes, Cole slaw and fries. It’s definitely worth a visit and I will be back.
We went for brunch on a Saturday. Service was Waffle House level. The food was very very basic. $60 tab for 4 meals and we won't return. The most basic level of Sysco truck food. It is in the heart of Old Town but has no reason to remain there.
I have been here twice now. Once for dinner and once for brunch. The brunch experience was much better. But the dinner experience kept me from giving it a 5, but I will give it a 5 because of how the staff helped us. The food overall is solid lunch and dinner. The dinner we got wings for app and then fish and ribs. My uncle got ribs on a lucky night and got a full rack for the price of half. Our fish was pretty bland, but the rest of the food was good. The brunch was also good. They ran out of hash browns so they brought us fries instead and then gave us a discount for the mess ups. Definitely would come back for brunch or dinner and give it another shot.
very good atmosphere. friendly people. love the food. I would recommend to my friends.
Had a special brunch meet up with family, and the quality of service matched the event spectacularly. Our server was Laura, and she did a great job
Food and service are great.Would be nice if they updated their phone number to a no -fax line. They won’t answer it and it goes to a high pitch tone.
