Love this place. Desserts and food are great, coffee drinks are excellent. Most of all the staff and atmosphere are relaxing.
I'm sorry but I was hoping to get at least a simple, classic cake for $5 per slice. Couldn't you use fresh strawberries and for god sake clean them first? I was embarrassed to open the box in front of my guest.

Very friendly and speedy customer service on a weekend! :)I purchased a 4pk of cupcakes and a cherry blossom tart. The cherry blossom tart was a little bit too sour for my liking unfortunately and the vanilla chocolate cupcake I got was a tiny bit dry but the buttercream was the star of the show ?Will definitely return to try other items on the menu because the display case looked great!

After stopping nearby for coffee, we took a stop over to the shop to see what there was to try. Quite a varied selection of pastries and baked goods. I exercised some restraint and had the 9:30 cupcake and a slice of the French silk pie.Cupcake: WOW! Rich, dark chocolate cake, perfect ganache topping and the interior cream was so good. The textures were all spot on and it wasn't overly sweet. The pie was also just what I was hoping for. The whipped topping is every-so-slightly sweetened, but it's light flavor balances the right chocolate filling. Chocolate crust was so good I wish I had more.

I am mentoring a 10-year old who loves cupcakes. I have known for a long time that Buzz had very good reviews and always bought cupcakes there for others. My first disappointment was the shorter hours of operation due to covid. The last time we went in to get some cupcakes, it turned out that there is a corporate policy to require proof of vaccination. I have mine, but I didn't know about my 10-year old mentee. So I spent $15 on cupcakes but we were not allowed to stay there. There is no vaccination proof mandate in Virginia. I am not going to support a business that doesn't allow a child to eat a cupcake indoors in February
Delicious croissant. Smelled heavenly. Parking is a little tricky if the back lot is full or Street parking is. Can't wait to go back.
Great coffee shop. Pastries and coffee are top notch.
