Food was disgusting and burnt rice was disgusting and rancid after placing it in the fridge. This means the ingredients used were not fresh. Manager doesn’t respond to ANY ISSUES. Definitely not like what I have tried at another location. Don’t waste your money!!

So CLEARLY…. I’m not the only one bamboozled by the name “Bonchon” on the front of this store. I second every negative complaint out on this feed. My strips were not the advertised “Korean soy-garlic strips” They were dry, overcooked commercial order traditional strip. Aside from the food because pretty much everyone has already throughly described the dissatisfaction with the food…. My issue is that we couldn’t even get a refund because “allegedly” there was no manager. The only option we were given was a phone to call for Brian. And guess what, he didn’t answer and his voicemail was full!!! What a surprise. What responsible owner leaves there location in the hands of a guy who does not know how to process a refund, nor does he know basic stuff like if this restaurant is a franchise or when the manager will be in. Leaving someone like him by himself was a poor management decision. This is a bad representation of my favorite Korean restaurant. It would be who of you to take a trip to the Arlington bonchon to see how real bonchon soy garlic strips are made. Also the bonchon in Arundel mills is another great example. What your serving is false advertisement as this is not the bonchon Korean fried chicken. This is chicken strips ordered from Sysco or us foods with a drizzle of sauce. Unacceptable and this restaurant will be held accountable

My brother introduced Bonchon to us while visiting him in Md. I went there on Sunday and got enough for several meals. We ate like Kings and Queens for several days. The chicken was oh so spicy and good. The french fries with that seasoning was very tasty. The rice and pot stickers were also good. Good food from Bonchon.

I want to love this place. Bonchon is my family’s favorite, from Fairfax, Annandale to Arlington location, they are all great and over all good franchise. However, the Alexandria’s location is by far the worst. Front staffs were good, no problem but they clearly have issue with their kitchen. I bought two boxes of chicken, and they were all wrong order so I had to drive back to their location and get my order correct. Please get your act together, I really want to like you guys but I rather drive for another 5 min towards King Street and arrive at the other Korean chicken place and get all my orders correct and delish.

We ordered out. Doordash charges are what they are. Yet receiving undercooked/raw chicken is a major mistake. We've ordered from the Arlington location before and we have never had this occur. We ordered the Family XL meal. Came from the Alexandria location.Although we received a partial refund from doordash, we're faced with the possibility of being sick for being served good that should never be given to anyone.

After reading the reviews, we were slightly worried about trying this Bonchon. But this first visit was great. The drum sticks were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Japchae noodles were very good. The whole family was happy with our meal. We’ll be back!

The food was fast, the quality was low. I ordered soy garlic strips. They were dry and had very little soy garlic sauce on them. I've eaten at a number of Bonchon locations, and this one is pretty low on the list.I thought maybe it was a new location, but it doesn't seem to be. I don't know that I'll give this one another go. From the other reviews, it seems like it's probably a lost cause.

I just order from here and it came surprisingly fast, but it was bad, food was probably cooked to fast because it was so dry and tasteless, this is probably the worst bonchon location I’ve ever been too

The chicken was flavored well, but every piece was dry. I've definitely had better Korean fried chicken. The fried rice was really good

Every time I order for delivery from this location, they ALWAYS mix the spicy chicken and the regular ones. I ordered Combo 15 wings + 8 Drums. Half of it is spicy and they MIXED THE SPICY AND THE REGULAR TOGETHER. It’s hard to differentiate which one is spicy by just looking at it. It’s very annoying because some of us does not eat spicy and ended up picking up the spicy one. They had to throw it after a bite.
