Friends and I had brunch today. It was pretty perfect. Madison is a great server. She was helpful, professional and friendly. We tried eggs Benedict, patatas brava, churro-spiced pancakes and a goat cheese dish. I've been to Barca before and will definitely be back. The vibe is fun and feels welcoming to a wide age range.
I was excited to try Barca Pier and Wine Bar for the first time. My boyfriend and I went for a date night and had a bunch of fun trying all of the different tapas and drinks. The pier is beautiful and the food was awesome! However there was one big problem that overshadowed our whole dinner. My boyfriend and I sat under a white structure that is used to prop up/ zip in the plastic sides of the pier during cold weather. The structure has lights and fans and heaters to try and keep the temperature comfortable. This structure is in serious need of a cleaning- halfway through our meal my boyfriend and I noticed a MASSIVE spider spiraling down from up above us from this structure. Afterwards, we looked up and noticed an absolute spiderâs paradise above us with probably 30 spiders of all shapes and sizes (including some right above us) which unfortunately lead to us staring above our heads the rest of our meal to make sure none of the spiders dropped onto us or our food. If Barca power washes the structure it should eliminate the issue quiet easily, but unfortunately my boyfriend and I spent the rest of our (rather expensive) dinner staring above our heads hoping one of the spiders wasnât going to fall on us. Soon, the people at the table next to us noticed what we were looking at and were equally horrified. If Barca wants people to come and enjoy their restaurant they need to invest in some basic pest control.

Server was very nice - prices were ok for the area, however the other BARCA 100ft away offers a Happy hour and better drinks and food - this one had a better view but limited on the other - SO you either pay for a view or you go 100 feet and pay for better deals
Nice breeze at midday on the water made it delightful. Excellent servers and food was fresh and tasty.
