Our group of 3 stood at the entrance for over 10 minutes while the bartenders attempted inconspicuous glancing in our direction and no server or host or anyone acknowledged us clearly waiting for some sort of assistance. If this was a seat yourself establishment, a sign indicating that would have been nice. Though, even if it was seat yourself, the tables had not been cleaned for the next groups to sit. It was incredibly infuriating that the bartenders didn’t even attempt to let us know if we were doing things wrong. I was super stoked to come in and try some amazing cocktails, but the arrogance and egocentrism just totally turned me off. We eventually just left because, well, eff that.
Very nice atmosphere and extensive mixed drink and non alcoholic drink menus. They know their mixology and we had a great time. 11/10 recommend.
This cocktail bar has an amazing speakeasy aesthetic. The menu is great. The bartenders are excellent and friendly. They require proof of COVID 19 vaccination, Not sure about proof of negative COVID 19 test.
Favorite bar in Burlington. Live jazz, fantastic cocktails, cozy booths. This place has everything you could want and more. They also have a few gluten free options for lighter fare.
Wonderful jazz with the Tuesday trio. Cocktails are great and I really appreciated the interesting non-alcoholic cocktails.
The hardest part about writing this review is deciding where to start! Deli 126 bartended at my wedding this past October in Vermont, and they were a pleasure to work with right off the bat. Despite it being in the middle of the pandemic, Deli 126 was brilliantly accommodating by video chatting with us as we tasted cocktails that they had prepared and had delivered to us (along with garnishes!) in perfectly vacuum sealed pouches. They worked extensively with us to find a perfect set of cocktails that appealed to my and my husband’s tastes and also made use of local ingredients such as my family’s maple syrup and our favorite honey supplier. They even let us name all four of the signature cocktails that they designed for our wedding! Then, on the day of the wedding, they absolutely knocked it out the park. Not only did they keep all of our guests supplied with a steady stream of incredible cocktails (we never saw a backed up line once the entire night!) but they also took special care to make sure that me and my husband were always supplied with a drink since they knew we wouldn’t have time to get to the bar ourselves. They brought that same attention to detail to every aspect of service the entire night, coordinating flawlessly with our wedding planner and caterer to time various stages of drink services with each phase of the wedding. This is all the more impressive in light of the fact that they did all of this at an outdoor wedding in the middle of a thunderstorm! I would absolutely recommend Deli 126 to anyone looking for a top tier bar service at any event; I can’t think of single thing that was any less than perfect the entire evening.
No phone to inquire about their hours, which is enough to rate them quite poorly. But why beat them up for that since the loss of potential business is beating enough. Other than that though, the ambiance and music are not unlike an oasis suddenly appearing when you need it.
Great bar staff, very nice cocktails I recommend the Arab Spring :)
For sure my favorite spot to go out in Burlington.Amazing drinks, vibe, and music. Also the desserts are SO good.My one qualm is that they use plastic cups if you want water. Which who doesn’t when you’re having a drink? Glasses please! Vermont is a leader in sustainability- would love to see the single-use plastic at this establishment be gone~
It’s so nice that Burlington finally has a jazz club. They are cultivating and maintaining a very important aspect of the music scene here. Amazing selection of cocktails and beers.
