Amazing burgers!! Best in Burlington. Great beer selection with drink and food promos depending on day. Lots of tvs with sports and great music!!
This place does not understand food allergies. I placed an order for EVERYONE EATS and asked for no LETTUCE and TOMATO do to my husband being allergic to them and they put it on them anyways. I then called and the manager said she would fix it but they did the same thing again.
I normally order from here once a month or so and the food is generally good, but tonight the food was trash,I ordered the sampler and what I got was a sample of disgustingness,the fries were cold the onion rings mush and it literally looked like food was taken off plates and put in a box I’m highly disappointed
As a Burlington resident, this place is usually a go to of mine. Recently I spent 45 minutes waiting to even be acknowledged by anyone that works here. Wings are very good if you have hours to kill and don’t mind being ignored. If you have anywhere else to be with your day, I’d suggest elsewhere.
Went here solo for trivia night and ordered the Chicken wings, amazing ??Came back the next night for a Live band and ordered the Turkey Ruben, it was so good. My friend ordered the invincible burger (plant based) and it was great too. I'm going back today to try the veggie burger. The bartender had great selection for my preference and I found a new cider.I will come back whenever I'm in Vermont
Came into RJs for dinner, it was a Friday night and surprisingly it wasn’t too crowded. The food selection was about average for bar food. Maybe a bit better. There were plenty of TVs for keeping up with the latest sporting events. The staff were friendly. They were very helpful when I asked them to switch the channel on one of the TVs so I could watch a hockey game while enjoying my meal. I give it a four star rating though because you could tell that the bar is catering to more of the college scene.
Pretty good food and nice service. Loved the trivia night and custom shots.
I'm ashamed to say I've walked past this phenomenal food purveyor at least a dozen times without giving it a 2nd thought. We just recently ordered online from Ruben James a few times and everytime has been a delight to our taste buds. Their sandwiches, wraps, fries, appetizers, and fried foods are a delight. I highly recommend this place and look forward to going there in person when the weather warms.
Worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. My server acted as if she didn’t want to serve me. I ordered a margarita and before I could even ask what flavors they had she walked off. She had a bad attitude because I asked for a Corinna then changed my mind. Second, I order BBQ Chicken Wings and that’s all they gave me, she didn’t ask if I wanted water, wet wipes, or NAPKINS. I’m really upset she didn’t even give me napkins. Also, she didn’t even ask if I wanted to participate in trivia night. Im African American and the atmosphere in that place made me feel uncomfortable. I definitely felt like I shouldn’t be in Ruben James. Plus it was .75 cents wings night she didn’t even honor that price. I paid and didn’t even take the food home. SMH.
John the bartender is friendly. Good wings too. Sophia is very nice.
