I’ve never written a bad google review before, but I unfortunately need to. I got very ill from food poisoning after I ate here, and after asking around I have heard of many people getting it from here. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Burlington, but I sadly have to leave a one star review now. The staff are extremely nice and the food is delicious, but eat at your own risk.
This pokè is was really fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the offerings they had to spice it up and the poke sauce was really good. I was very pleased with my purchase and can’t wait to go back. Side note, I picked up at 4:30 and they were already out of their sushi rolls for the evening. Someone came in wanting one. Seems like they should have at least a few made for dinner time. Pokè works offers specials on rolls occasionally and it would be good if they had some in the case.
I was really excited to try this place as a special Mother's Day treat for myself, but my delivery order wasn't correct. I asked for Tuna & received Salmon, which I don't really like the texture of when its raw & it was missing several of the toppings I requested, like pickled ginger & wontons. It tasted good--in fact the Seaweed salad was excellent--but the Poke Bowl itself wasn't what I paid for. I'm hoping it was because I ordered toward the end of their day & they were out of some things. Will give them another try in the future, but I'm a little disappointed.
READ THE WHOLE THING! Ordered online. Had every topping I removed. Talked to a nice woman and she refunded the whole order. They are great with customerservice !!!UPDATE:Never got my refund. She said they would refund it. They clearly don’t care about their customer satisfaction. Don’t order from here. Every bowl you get is bland. Nasty.
Very good, i just wish the fish was cut up a little smaller (some pieces were 1.5" x1" for the poke bowl)... but everything was fresh and delicious and the staff was delightful.
Really good but they butchered both our take out orders. Added things to both we didn't select and left off things we did. It wasn't just one or two options, it's almost like they didn't even look at what we selected other than what the main dishes both were. Again though, it was really good.
Ordered online. Bring your own rice, it might be missing; and don't order lettuce in your bowl unless you want mixed greens. Don't know why my bowl was farther ruined with edamame, I didn't ask for it.
I ordered online through Delivery.com and the whole process was seemless and quick. The ingredients were fresh and packed with flavor. This was a great lunch option while downtown. Thanks!
Typically I like this place. However, today when I went in I placed my order and I asked for a bag. The lady rang me up and there was a guy sitting there eating a huge poke bowl behind the register and I asked for a bag. He placed it on the counter and sat back down and proceeded to eat the woman that rang me up walked away. I looked at my puffball still sitting on the counter while I grab the bag and wondered, G why isn’t my bowl in a bag? And I said, Oh my ball isn’t even in the bag… The guy just kind of chuckled and continue to stuff his face. Just really bad manners and bad customer service all around
Haven’t stopped in while so me and my fiancé stopped in for anniversary lunch what we got was rude service and nearly frozen peptones our food tasted as if it just came out a freezer. Honestly I have had better and this new staff loves to cut you off when you order I don’t know who does the hiring but you gotta train them to be more respectful I don’t know if I would come again the food just didn’t taste right at all beyond being frozen the sauce had no taste it was just bad not worth the money table was messy and had to clean it before use over all
