This place used to be a fun hang out. But it's REALLY gone downhill after the pandemic. They only serve slices now instead of whole pies.Seriously, this place has to fail soon. The owner is driving it into the ground.Side note: Someone needs to tell the owner his hair is thinning HORRIBLY. Dude needs to wear a hat or shave his head. Looks like he is suffering from "mange"...gross.
They played Demon Days cover to cover. They make a proper pie. The chicken sandwich reminds me of the south. Don't sleep on it.
This place has everything going for it. Best beer list in town, food will change your life, music is always boppin’, and the wall art will amaze. Most of all, the staff is second to none. If you’re not at Hatty’s you’re not doing it right.
Manhattans was my favorite bar for years. The owners are great but things have gone downhill in regards to the atmosphere and patronage. It used to be the least conceited place and that is why I liked it, but something is slowly changing, it's more conceited here now. Maybe it's 2 years of pandemic but most people aren't friendly anymore. People have lost their sense of humor. BTW the bouncer was TERRIBLE, total douche. 2/19/2022
Awesome place with awesome pizza and people. Very close to church street and all the shops it has. Good for late night partying munchies as well.
This is solid pizza, a real all-rounder. The crust was chewy but not bland, the cheese made it all the way around the pie, the toppings were plentiful, and the service was excellent. It's not going to win any fine dining awards, but it's not trying to. It's honest, working class New York style. It's above average on all fronts, without winning any individual category.As for the bar...I miss the open mic. But the people who work there are great, the location is prime, and the drinks are reasonably priced. On all fronts, a very good place to spend some time.
Nice place, who ever is in charge hear. understands a good value. Not trying to be the best. But dam you will feel like it was money well spent. Can't help but feel like this place is way underrated. I would definitely come back several times... thanks for a good night out.
I didn’t eat there but wanted to hang out at their bar after dinner. I am a wine drinker and have had many glasses of Cabernet at this bar before. However, now, they only serve one kind of red wine from a box that tastes like grape juice. The manager was not concerned in the least that it was a bad experience for me much less any wine drinker. Not all are treated equally there. Boo on them. I will keep my money for another place.!!
