This is where the action is in Burlington. Most of the shops original, not too many chains. Great place to eat out.
Beautiful in the winter. Full of wonderful shops, friendly people, things to do. Highly recommend
An extremely thriving area for shopping and food. The streets are clean and festive. My experience involved just window shopping and buying chocolates. Getting food and walking down to the lake. You can park at the university parking deck for a cheap cost than the other lots I think. Overall it was a great city center to visit.
Church street has always been a great shopping destination. A variety of great shops, places to eat and where some fun events take place. Some of my favorite business are on Church Street!
Church Street is a very special spot in Burlington, Vermont. There really isn't another place like it. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. ?
The street is bustling with good crowd and cheer especially in summer time. Plenty restaurants to dine in and the church at the end of the street is hard not to miss as the icon of Burlington.
Gorgeous in winter time. Great lights, food and plenty of shops, just a nice lively place.
I've always loved downtown Burlington, especially in winter. There's nothing more magical than shopping the cobblestone promenade with a frenzy of fluffy snowflakes. Add the holidays and lights, and the charm factor doubles. There's a good variety of clothing, foods, and curious odds and ends from start to finish. Watch out for cars, because it's easy to get lost in the sights and wander into the crosswalks. With plenty of photo-ops, keep your phone handy...and if you're patient enough, one of Burlington's imposing copmobiles will FINALLY move to a parking spot or HQ, and give you that wide street photo you waited 2 hours for! Seriously...get them a reserved parking spot on the street, Burlington City Commission, and get them off the pedestrian way.
Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. There are a few gift shops in the area but nothing as much for souvenirs. Good to walk around and take a look at all the historic buildings. Its a short walk to the waterfront which gives you amazing views of the Lake Champlain and upstate New York.
Came here bright and early on a Friday morning to peruse the shops. That had a great variety of shops but with there were a few more “souvenir type shops” in the area.
