Absolutely loved this place! We were in town for a single day as Burlington was the first stop with an 8 day road rally with our Mini Cooper. We hadn't really researched where to eat and just happened upon this place. The view was stunning looking at Lake Champlain as the sunset - wow!Ismar, our waiter, was excellent! We were torn between the Lobster roll and the Monkfish and went with the monkfish based on his recommendation as in his words 'lobster rolls are available in lots of places, the monkfish is not'SPOT ON MY FRIEND!!!Now here is the thing. I ordered mine requesting no bell peppers (allergy) When he brought it out it had peppers in it. This happens to me more often then you can imagine. Generally they take mine back to the kitchen and I sit and wait while I encourage my husband to eat his so it doesn't get cold. This was the absolutely FIRST time that a server took back both of our plates to be remade so we would be able to eat together!! We got to enjoy our meal together, which for foodies like us is great as we like to talk about what we are eating. Dining out is a social experience after all. There was a 2 piece musical group in the adjacent lounge which made the experience even better if that is at all possible.Go here!!
The people working were very friendly. However, it appeared that their was only one server for the entire restaurant. We had appetizers and 1 drink. Food was a mix bag. Oysters were $21 and you got 6 of the smallest Oysters I have ever seen. Marinated olives were great considering we got what looked like 2 jars worth. The third dish was excellent. I was just disappointed because we wanted to order entrees but were worried we would miss our remaining evening plans. Great beer and drink selection.
This is one of the very best restaurants in Burlington. Beautiful menu, fresh ingredients (exceptional), lake view (indoors), fine and friendly service. Breakfast and dinner menus are outstanding. Artisanal beverages - highest quality all the way around.
Great American kitchen with an emphasis on seafood. Plenty of options including steaks and burgers. All very good to excellent. Highly recommend the charcuterie board.
Brussel sprouts were exceptional, octopus amazing and arctic char succulent. I appreciated the sparkling Saratoga water offered comp for first bottle instead of conventional tap water. My first visit but definitely not my last. It now is one of my favorites.
Excellent dinner. I was on town with colleagues..we had a great meal and time to connect as it has been a while. Overall staff was very busy and attentive. I enjoyed a good beer and steak.
I know, it’s a restaurant in a hotel, what did I expect fine cuisine? The eggs were fine, the bread likely looked good pre blackening, bacon overdone, the potatoes mediocre. The tea, $4 per cup for Lipton, which is free 15 feet away in the lobby. $55 for breakfast for 2, wow. Safe to say we didn’t try it again on our next mornings there.
Beautiful decor, incredible lighting, excellent sunset spot. Great drinks, amazing food. Arctic char was out of this world
Delicious food and excellent service, I love with the place. ❤️
Brussel sprouts and Flatbread was burned. Waiter said that's how it's supposed to be. Ordered medium burger, it came extremely well done, again waiter not interested. Brought fancy chicken dish instead of kids meal chicken fingers for an 8 year old. When the kids chicken came it was also over dine. The mushroom quinoa was like soup. Gave up on the waiter. The steak was ok. Lots of great restaurants in Burlington, this one I do not recommend.
