I really wanted to like this place.Pros:- very friendly service all around- tons of vegan options- big family style seating- nuts and wasabi peas to begin with and orange slices at the end- portions are a decent sizeCons- expensive for what You get.- mock eel was very salty, but the texture was amazingI would say this place is overrated, but I might have ordered the wrong things.
I had an amazing dinner and wonderful evening with half a dozen friends tonight. The tasting menu meant dishes just kept coming to the table and each one was a treat.
The owner is absolutely disgusting. Refusing someone their reservation because they have a SERVICE ANIMAL is completely illegal and exactly what this horrendous women did. Under ADA guidelines, it it illegal to refuse service to someone who has a service animal, if you need to know what the disability is or what the animals performance tasks are, you are allowed to ask. What you are not allowed to do is refuse service for person reasons such as the ones the idiot owner did. Never give this place business again. The owner is a selfish piece of trash who only cares about the abled people in this community and has no heart or care for the individuals protected under ADA guidelines. Terrible, just terrible.
Friendly service and a wide variety of dishes. We especially liked the sweet salty flavor of the vegetarian mock eel.
Spring rolls and the tangerine chicken. Service was good. My expectations were very high given the hype. The food was good but something was missing.. nothing was unique
Everything about this place rocks. The menu options, the food, the service. It’s better than money I’d the Chinese food Ive had in nyc! It’s a must do if in Burlington!
Started with a Mai Tai and ate the chef tasting menu and was blown away. What a treat. Thank you to all the chefs in the back of the house!! amazing ? also, hats off to the bartender last night made my experience awesome even though I was by myself.
I hadn’t been to A Single Pebble for over 15 years, so I was thrilled to introduce my out of town friend to this restaurant for a quick bite to eat. The service was impeccable, polite, engaging and the food still excellent. I was eager to try an old favorite Mock Eel and it was impressively wonderful. We shared the Tan Tan Noodles and they were also most excellent.Highly recommended to anyone with a desire to explore the wonderfully unexpected!??
Amazing restaurant, I ordered the soup and fried rice, the soup is so big that you can shared it with 2 people, the waiters was very attentive, I love it.
We have been dining here for years. The food is always amazing. It's Classical Chinese, so much better than the take-out "Americanized" Chinese food you can get anywhere. The food is served family style and the serving sizes are large. I love that many things on the menu can be made vegan.
